Hey there! We've enjoyed an awesome response to the game and the world is slowly beginning to take shape! Our city is filled with villains, almost all of which now control their own parts of the world. We have plenty of players, but we would love to have more to really flesh out our new universe. We are still open to any Marvel or OC on either side, but we really need heroes!

How would your hero navigate this dark new world where the villains are in control? Will you give up everything, living in the shadows and resist? Will you betray everything for an easy life, joining the evil you used to fight? The choice if yours!

Question. So it seems like most of New York is already taken. If we wanted to play a villain who had their own little territory how would that work? Or is that off the table at this point? To be specific I am pondering a villain who controls Mt. Sinai and maybe a little area around it, which would be in Doom's territory on the map. I would be okay with them having a sort of feudal relationship with Doom but I don't know if that's an option or not?

History: Nigel was the poster child for bullying... as the victim.  He endured horrendous bullying from many sources, including parents and teachers.  His arrogance and insistence on his own intellectual superiority drew the ire of his peers and his teachers.  His solace was movies and they, in turn, led him to fencing.  He was a dedicated fencer but according to his coaches (who were also unhappy with his ego) he was not aggressive enough to compete on an international stage.  That same lack of aggression and ego led to his repeated failure with women.  An incel of the lowest order, he seemed destined to die alone and friendless.  Then his powers awakened and things changed.  He was now the bully and the women could no longer say no....

How you got here: Nigel was in an alley behind a bar, happily assaulting a woman who had already been roofied, when a squad of lesser heroines entered the scene.  Nigel assumed his Creeper form and was happily draining the group when a major heroine arrived.  She was seriously squicked when Creeper started talking dirty to her and blasted him with a powerful, sustained energy blast, powerful enough to fill Creeper with more energy than he'd ever felt before.  It was ecstasy.  When the blast ended and the dust settled, Creeper had been blown into a completely different universe.

Personality: Nigel is a sexual deviant, preferring helpless, unwilling partners.  He hangs with an unsavory crowd and doesn't mind sloppy seconds.  He's a puzzle solver and a deductive reasoner, able to draw conclusions from available evidence.  He's a skilled fencer but was unable to make the Olympic team because he was 'not aggressive enough'.  A true sociopath, he is without empathy and presents a cold, callous demeanor.  He values his own life well above that of other and will abandon anyone he is currently associating with,  if he feels threatened.

Powers /Skills:  Shadow form- Creeper melts from human form into a puddle of liquid-like shadowy goo.  He can spread himself over an area the size of a small parking lot, as long as there is shadow.  He cannot move his shadow form into any area with direct light and cannot assume his shadow form when in direct light.

Cling - Creeper's 'shadow-stuff' can anchor the average person to the ground and can affect as many people as are standing on the ground.  Exceptional strong humans (athletes, weight lifters) can pull themselves free.  Doing so is like pulling your foot out of mud or tar but there is no residue.  The goo cannot adhere to any friction-less surface.

Energy drain - Creeper draws energy from his trapped victims, creating a lethargy and fatigue that can render his victims unconscious but he cannot kill with it.  Even the feeblest victim is unlikely to be permanently harmed.  He feeds on the energy, using it to regenerate.  He cannot store the energy he steals and any he doesn't use is lost.  He is capable of absorbing a considerable amount of energy quickly, so power blasts or do no damage to him.  He claims that, if given enough energy he could split and create duplicates of himself but there is no proof that this is true.

Ons & Offs:ONs - helpless women, draining, homophobic males (he loves making them helpless and making them think he's going to assault them)/OFFs - actual homosexuality (hypocritical much?), women who fly (because he can't drain them)

Weaknesses:Cold - The absence of energy is Creeper's kryptonite.  Virtually immune to any other type of attack, cold saps his energy away.  Exposure to extreme cold will quickly drive him back to his human form.  Winter is difficult for Creeper to operate in but not impossible. 

Creeper's Liquid Shadow form

History: Emma was born into money and reaped all the benefits that such an education allowed her. She became a successful businesswoman and eventually sought even more power and influence. She eventually found herself at the Hellfire Club, a collection of powerful individuals hiding behind the disguise of a high-end strip club, and applying for membership, surprisingly they knew about her mutant abilities and even included several mutants among their the club's Inner Circle. Gaining membership in the Inner Circle required that she debase herself as part of the initiation so Emma soon found herself as the main attraction in the strip club.

She paid her dues and was accepted into the Inner Circle, quickly working to remove the members that had required her debasement in order to become a member in a very permanent manner. She spend years leading the Hellfire Club before the announcement about the mutant homeland of Krakoa was made, calling all mutants "home". Sensing a massive opportunity, Emma was quick to head there and started developing a power base on Krakoa. A trip through one of it's portals dropped her in the city, with no way home, but luckily Emma Frost knows how to make money easily enough.

How you got here: The portals of Krakoa aren't prone to accidents or tampering but apparently it can happen and, to make matters worse, there is no portal on this side that she can travel back through.

Personality: Calculating, manipulative, often described as bitchy or cold. Measures people and relationships in terms of how useful they are to her plans and needs but she isn't above holding onto a favorite pet or two.

Appearance: Curvaceous figure, 5'9", blonde hair and blue eyes. Almost always clad in white as befitting her moniker as the White Queen.

Faceclaim: Yvonne Strahovski

Powers / skills: Physical abilities of a woman that keeps herself in great shape.

• Martial artist, business expert, finance expert, psychic combat master, master manipulator, master seductress.

• Emma possesses incredible psychic powers. Reading minds, manipulating them, altering perceptions are all well within the scope of her abilities.
• She also possesses the ability to turn herself into a sort of living diamond form. This form makes her inhumanly strong and tough but prevents her from using her mental powers.

Ons & Offs: O/o

Primary Minion: Emma doesn't have a primary minion, although she keeps a wide variety of people on her payroll or in her contacts.

Limitations/Weakness: Emma possesses the limits of a normal person when not in her diamond form. She can also be knocked out by a strong enough psychic attack and her diamond form can be broken if struck by a powerful enough attack.
