How many Rp Partners do you have?

So yeah I am quite curious about this. And no this isn't a who has the highest amount or anything about that and no there won't be any giving names of your rp partners. This is merely a question that anyone can answer really and no there isn't a lowest amount either. I was partly inspired by the question about how many rps one is involved in so feel free to respond and there is no right or wrong answer.

I can say for myself at the moment I have a total of...5 rp partners. 

Should your number go up at any point or go down...just edit your post though what you do in the end is up to you I just am merely putting that out there as you are free to respond at some point down the line if you are wanting to with an update.

I'm not sure how to count group games so I'll only count '1' for each group game where I'm a player, and for group games where I'm a GM, I'll include all my players in my count.

RP partners
Group games I'm in: 2 (just counting the 'main' GM of those groups)
Group games where I GM: 7
Solo partners: 5

So I guess technically 14, tbough this number fluctuates depending on how many scenes I have characters in for groups where I am not a GM.

I currently have 6 partners in 6 active 1x1s and 5 1x1s that are on hiatus with 5 different partners. I tend to be a one story with each partner at a time sort of writer, though repeat partners are my goal.

At the moment I am in limbo. I have one roleplay partner I think. Unless I have been ghosted. I want to get more roleplay going soon. I am just waiting for things to fall into place for me.

Currently have one active, one semi-active and at least one in hiatus. Waiting to hear back from two other partners but they have personal stuff going on so I'm not in any rush.

So let me see, far as an update on my end. I figured I'd just put it here instead of editing my original post, a bit lazy sure, but otherwise feels like it has been a bit since I first put this up. Also thanks for everyone responding in here...I know it isn't exactly easy doing so and yeah I want to say it gets easier for those without rp partners as when I first joined this site and was struggling just to find anyone to rp with to where I am now which is I suppose better then well then.

My recommendation is for anyone looking for rp partners is to gauge where your interest lies so like are you looking to rp on E or are you looking to rp on Discord? One option I can give would be in Role Playing Requests-One on one/Solo Adult Roleplays Wanted, here you would find rpers looking for rp partners on E. The second option I can give would be in Role Playing Requests-Non Forum Roleplay Requests, so this would be off site. Again it is just a matter of preference but you never know what you might find there that will suit your interests.

It might help as well to check out a person's O/O or even setup your own to let people know what you can do rp wise. If you aren't looking for too smutty as the ones I suggested pertain to more nsfw stuff at times there is a board for sfw stuff. 

Don't be afraid to message people and don't be discouraged if someone never responds. You aren't alone as there are many who likely are going through the same thing you are.

So as of now I have six rp partners on Discord, I'm looking at rping again on here but as of now nothing to report there. Of those 6 I'd say at least 2 are active and a few others are like semi active and one who has sort of vanished and just waiting for them to come back. Activity naturally varies between rpers and while it doesn't hurt to poke now and then sometimes it just takes a lot of trust and restraint to see that they post again. Apologies for the length of this but I've been reading your responses and hopefully this offers some reassurance and even to those reading in, but, this is just my personal input and I'm not going to say it is the overall equivalent of an Rper on here, chances are rpers have their own experiences in dealing with this so even if this doesn't help just thought to put it out there.

Currently 1, but we've been writing together for about 12 years now. Started out on bluemoon and we've finished several roleplays at this point but it works because sometimes we have to disappear for a few months at a time. I'm hoping to find a few new players, haven't been on here in years.

I currently have three RP Partners (we write via Discord).
But it depends on how many fandoms I am currently obsessing over and the time I have.

Sometimes, there can be more, if someone is willing to set up a short-term RP with a brief story.
But generally, I tend to have less partners with long-term RPs and a long story

My first really memorable OC was named "Luna" and she was a freshly turned Vampire with long, black hair and red eyes 
 
Not embarassed to say that she was what people back then would call a "Mary Sue" haha but I really loved her and still do if I am honest. Her character traits were "polite and nice, pretty weak because she refuses to drink blood but she's strong if she did"

If I'd be able to re-create her now, I'd change a lot of things, but yea she was my first and will always have a special place in my heart because of this <3

Before that, I always created "OCs" with my best friend but they were basically us in another, magical universe hehe

I just wanted to say, sometimes Mary Sue's are ok. I know generally we want to have characters that are not too overly perfect but from time to time, shiny pristine characters without a lot of flaws are what we are looking for or need for a game.

Over on Discord I have 5 with a potential of 6. Activity wise is sort of spotty at times not going to lie but sometimes it just takes patience and a keen eye when something is posted. I admit even now I probably owe a response or two just need to get myself going there.

I recently moved on from an rp partner on Discord who simply vanished on me.

Always on the lookout for further rp partners whether on here or over on Discord.

It is quite a process not going to lie but I do believe you will find some. I would say be patient and they will come to you once you have something out there but like anything it is trial and error so only wishing the best for you and all who have been either struggling to find rp partners or to those who have had people disappear on them; in the end there is a huge support system and hoping this is a safe space at the end of the day because there is no right or wrong answer here so it doesn't matter if someone has none to someone who has a mountain of rp partners.

Sometimes things come and go in waves. I have been on this site for a minute now, and I have been roleplaying in general since the dawn of the net. I have had times where I had twenty rps going, and I have the time right now where I have none. Wherever you are currently at with it, it is ok.
