#25
Character Name: X-23, Talon, Captain Universe, Laura Kinney

Played By: TamaRose

Real Name: Laura Kinney

Age: 18

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Height: 5'1"

Weight: 110 lbs

Hair: Black

Eyes: Green

Unusual Features: Eyes turn red under the influence of the "trigger scent"

Face Claim: Mila Kunis

Weapons:

Adamantium Claws: X-23's claws have been coated with the nigh-indestructible metal Adamantium. As a result, her claws are virtually unbreakable and are capable of cutting almost any substance, with the exceptions of Adamantium itself and Captain America's shield. Her ability to slice completely through a substance depends upon the amount of force she can exert and the thickness of the substance. Also, since the bones of her hands and wrists are not laced with Adamantium, it is likely that the reverberation of her claws could conceivably break her hands with significant force. Unlike Wolverine, the presence of Adamantium in her body is not sufficient enough to interfere with her bones' normal function of generating blood corpuscles, although it is as possible that some degree of her immune system is distracted by the presence of the foreign substance. Her claws can cut through the Hulk's skin and eyes.

Affiliation: X-Men-New Charles Xavier School Student Body,  Time-displaced X-Men, X-Men-Jean Grey Student Body, Avengers Academy, X-Force, New X-Men, X.S.E., X-Men Training Squads, Facility

Base of Operation:Hulkland

Powers and Weaknesses:

Regenerative Healing Factor: Like Wolverine, X-23's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing factor that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. She is capable of fully healing injuries resulting in massive tissue damage and blood loss such as multiple bullet wounds, slash wounds, and puncture wounds within a matter of minutes. Her healing factor is developed to such a degree, she is capable of reattaching severed limbs, such as a hand. She has also proven capable of regrowing an entire arm on her own (Elixer was incapacitated at the time). Her healing factor may fluctuate with her psychological state as battle wounds tend to heal very quickly, but her self inflicted cuts appear to remain visible for some time.

Foreign Chemical Immunity: X-23's natural healing also affords her the virtual immunity to poisons and most drugs. She can be affected by some drugs, such as tranquilizers, if she is exposed to a massive dose.

Disease Immunity: Due to her highly efficient immune system, X-23 is immune to all Earthly diseases and infections.

Superhumanly Acute Senses: X-23 possesses superhumanly acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals. She is capable of seeing at much greater distances, and with perfect clarity, than an ordinary human. She retains this same level of clarity in near-total darkness. Her sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing her to both hear sounds that ordinary human's can't and to hear sounds that ordinary humans can, but at much greater distances. X-23 is able to use her highly developed sense of smell to track targets by scent with an impressive degree of success, even if the scent has been eroded by natural factors, such as the weather.

Superhuman Stamina: X-23's muscles produce considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the muscles of an ordinary human. She can exert herself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair her.

Superhuman Agility: X-23's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Reflexes: X-23's reflexes are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

Bone Claws: X-23's skeleton includes two retractable bone claws in each arm and one in each foot that she can extend and retract at will. These claws are housed beneath the skin and muscle. Unsheathing them causes her skin to tear and bleed, but the wounds are quickly dealt with by her healing factor. X-23 can unsheathe any number of these claws at once, although she must keep her wrists and/or feet straight at the moment the claws emerge. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than normal human bone, allowing X-23 to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials.

Longevity: Presumably, because X-23 is a clone of the mutant Wolverine, her healing factor will also provide her with an extended lifespan by slowing the effects of the aging process.

Superhuman Durability: She was capable of fighting the Hulk without sustaining any severe injuries[citation needed] and surviving energy blasts from Nimrod (even if she required healing and nearly died).

Uni-Power: Laura has been occasionally seen wielding the powers of Captain Universe, and has the mark on her hand. She has been classified as a severe threat by both the O*N*E and Nimrod.

Abilities:

Expert Covert Ops Training: Raised in captivity, due to her extensive training as a top-secret operative, X-23 has been trained to become a living weapon. She is highly trained in the use of long range weapons and explosives, and is an expert in assassination techniques.

Expert Tracker: Due to her enhanced sense of smell, Laura is a dangerous tracker and has memorized many different scents.

Master Martial Artist: She is a master in hand to hand combatant, with intensive training in numerous armed and unarmed martial arts techniques do to her raise in the facility.

Master Acrobat: She is an Olympic class athlete, gymnast, acrobat and aerialist capable of numerous complex maneuvers and feats.

Multilingual: Laura can speak fluent American English, French, and Japanese. She might be able to speak other languages.

Gifted Intellect: She possesses the ability to quickly process multiple information streams (e.g., threat assessment) and rapidly respond to changing tactical situations.

Peak Human Strength: Because of her healing factor, X-23 can push her muscles, joints, and ligaments to levels beyond the natural limits of a woman of her height, weight, and build without sustaining injury. Unlike Wolverine, her skeleton isn't laced with Adamantium. While her skeleton, much like her musculature, can withstand greater pressures than a normal human skeleton, she can only withstand so much weight and pressure without sustaining fractures. While not superhuman, she is as physically strong as an ordinary human can be and can lift about 800 lbs.

Weaknesses

Induced Berserker Rage: She has also been subjected to conditioning in which a specific "trigger scent" has been used to send her into a berserker rage, killing anything in sight.

Powerful Energy Blasts: Injuries such as being hit with blasts of energy from Nimrod that caused her to age can't be healed, if she had been hit with it again she most likely would have died.

History: When a top-secret program attempted to recreate the original Weapon X experiment that involved the feral mutant Wolverine, they failed to secure a test subject who could survive the bonding process of the virtually unbreakable metal Adamantium to their skeleton. Seeking to take the project in a new direction, the project's director, Doctor Martin Sutter, recruited renowned mutant geneticist Doctor Sarah Kinney and tasked her with creating a clone.

Using the only available genetic sample from Weapon X, which was damaged, they were unable to salvage the Y chromosome after twenty-two attempts. Kinney proposed they create a female clone, and though her request was initially denied, she still went ahead and produced a viable female subject, prompting Sutter to reconsider. Despite resistance from his protégé Doctor Zander Rice, whom Sutter had raised after Rice's father had been killed by a bestial Wolverine at the original Weapon X Project, Sutter allowed Kinney to proceed. As revenge for her insubordination, Rice forced Kinney to act as the surrogate mother for the clone, and she gave birth to "X-23".

Seven years later, raised in captivity X-23 was trained to be a weapon. Kinney did her best to ensure the child retained some semblance of humanity, but her efforts appeared to be in vain. After seven years, Rice had X-23 subjected to radiation poisoning in order to accelerate the activation of her mutant gene, and forcibly extracted her claws and coated them with Adamantium. After Rice realized the child was growing soft, he blamed her sensei, one of the few people who treated her with kindness, and tested a chemical compound called "trigger scent" on him. The "trigger scent" causes Laura to kill mercilessly anything in her path, and thus she murdered her best friend. Rice already had a replacement in the wings, a woman named Kimura. Kimura was harsh and strictly punished X-23 for the death of her sensei.

Three years later, X-23 was sent on her first field mission to kill Presidential candidate Greg Johnson. She was assigned the mission as somewhat of an "advertising" ploy. Numerous other missions followed, as X-23's services were sold to the highest bidder. She was left emotionally stunted as a result. Her missions took her to locations all over the world, including Saudi Arabia, Las Vegas, Japan, Colombia, the Congo, and many others. For one mission she was assigned to pose as the Kingpin's daughter and kill the ones who had captured her, bringing the head of their leader back. Rice, in an attempt to avenge his father's murder, abandoned X-23 on a particularly dangerous mission with A.I.M., but she survived against overwhelming odds and managed to return to the facility. After her return to the facility Kimura punished her for not coming back with Rice.

Sarah Kinney let her out once, not as an attempt to escape but instead to use X-23 to help her find Kinney's niece, Megan, who had been kidnapped. X-23 found and rescued her with ease. Ultimately, Rice persuaded Sutter to hand control of the program over to him, then secretly ordered X-23 to kill Sutter and his family. X-23 was able to kill Sutter and his wife but was unable to kill their son. Instead, she let him live. Later, Rice revealed to Kinney a chamber with dozens of incubation pods containing female clones before he fired her. Before fleeing the facility with X-23, Kinney gave her one last mission - destroy the pods and kill Rice. However, Rice was able to exact revenge on Kinney from beyond the grave, as he had earlier exposed her to the trigger scent, sending X-23 into a rage that caused her to kill her mother. As she lay dying, Kinney named X-23 "Laura".

X-23 traveled to San Francisco and tracked down Megan and Debbie (her mother's sister). Introducing herself as Sarah's daughter, she moved in with them. Although Megan experienced vivid nightmares of her abduction, her family believed these to be utter fantasies. X-23 informed Megan that the man in her nightmares was indeed real and that she had killed him.

Debbie's boyfriend turned out to be an agent for the Facility who had been instructed to manipulate X-23 into killing Megan and Debbie using the trigger scent. However, the agent fumbled the assignment and was killed by X-23. Facility agents stormed the house, led by Kimura. X-23 managed to get Megan and Debbie to safety by handcuffing Kimura to a radiator and then triggering an explosion in the house, buying some time. After X-23 and Megan parted, X-23 decided to confront the man who made her creation possible -- Wolverine.

X-23 tracked Wolverine to Xavier's mansion and engaged him in a battle, defeating him via tactics and maneuverability. However, she did not kill him. Instead, she told him why she had come. Wolverine revealed that he was aware of X-23's ordeal, having received a detailed letter from her mother. The talk was interrupted when Captain America came to arrest Laura.

As a captive of S.H.I.E.L.D., Laura was interrogated by Captain America and Matt Murdock. Despite the mayhem in her past, Matt Murdock accepted X-23's innocence. Captain America wanted X-23 to atone for the murders she had committed. However, he ultimately freed X-23 in order to avoid S.H.I.E.L.D.'s exploitation of her as their own weapon.

X-23 surfaced in New York two years later and was found living on the streets by a pimp named Zebra Daddy, who took her in and employed her as a prostitute. X-23 met Kiden Nixon, a young mutant with the ability to freeze time when in danger. Together with Kiden's teacher, they rescued another young mutant, the feral Catiana, from an angry mob. Zebra Daddy tracked X-23 down, but with the aid of her new-found friends and the mutant named Felon, Zebra Daddy's thugs were defeated. X-23 killed him to save the lives of her friends.

X-23 later took a job at the mutant-themed Wannabee's nightclub in the Mutant Town district of New York. It was there that she saved the life of the daughter of mob boss Don Parisi from a gang of thugs, whom she killed. The deaths inadvertently implicated Wolverine, prompting his teammates in the X-Men to investigate. X-23 instinctively attacked Wolverine on sight, but he was eventually able to calm her down. She led the X-Men to Parisi's daughter. After aiding the X-Men against Parisi's super-strong mutant enforcer Geech, X-23 fled the scene. She later returned to help the X-Men save victims of a car accident, after which she was enrolled at the X-Men's Xavier Institute.

X-23 quickly became very protective of Wolverine, attacking his teammate Bishop after he felled Wolverine during a training session. She also took to observing Wolverine on the mansion's security monitors. During one such viewing, an anomalous energy spike prompted X-23 to investigate. Encountering Spider-Man at the source of the signal, X-23 initially mistook him for an enemy and attacked. The pair ultimately teamed up to save the young mutant Paul Patterson from an alternate reality version of the armored Avenger Iron Man (Tony Stark). The arrival of the heroic Captain America and the super-spy Black Widow helped turn the tide.

X-23 secretly followed Wolverine on his investigation of strange activity in the Canadian Rockies. Ambushed by the Hauk'ka, evolved Saurians from the Savage Land, X-23 managed to escape and alert the X-Men. Traveling to the Savage Land, X-23 and the X-Men teamed with the Land's lord Ka-Zar and his circumstantial allies, the Savage Land Mutates, to prevent the Hauk'ka from destroying human civilization by controlling the weather-manipulating X-Man Storm.

Sometime later, X-23 was approached by the cosmic Uni-Power in hopes of making specific use of her healing ability. Although she initially resisted its attempts to bond with her, and she remained reluctant even though it pleaded with her. She ultimately agreed to aid it and became Captain Universe for a brief period of time.

New X-Men

After M-Day, X-23 was one of the few students who hadn't lost their powers. The depowered students and staff were sent home; however their bus was bombed by anti-mutant religious zealot Reverend William Stryker and his Purifiers. Subsequently, Emma Frost had the surviving students engage in an free-for-all brawl, with those deemed to be the best performers assigned to a new team of trainee X-Men. Despite Frost's attempts to omit her, X-23 was among those students who made the grade.

Shortly afterwards, following Stryker's attack on the depowered students, X-23 heard Dust talking to Icarus, who had fled the Mansion. Dust intended to meet Jay, but Laura told her it was a trap. She eventually had to knock out her roommate to keep her safe. Donning Dust's burka X-23 came to Stryker's compound and was shot. After a few minutes spent healing and playing possum, Laura returned to the Mansion to see it being attacked by Purifiers. Laura fought valiantly and helped fend off the intruders.

The kids grew to be more receptive of Laura following her part in stopping Stryker's attack, in which she single-handedly killed three Purifiers who had incapacitated Surge, Hellion, and Emma Frost. Subsequently, she started to bond with her friends, using her enhanced hearing to find out what happened to Icarus for them, learning that Stryker killed him.

After Surge received a distress call from Forge, X-23 followed the team to Dallas to rescue him from the sentinel Nimrod. At the height of the desperate battle she managed to cut through to the interior of the machine with her claws, allowing the sentinel to be defeated. She was mortally wounded during the battle by Nimrod's energy blasts and was unable to heal herself. In order to save X-23, Hellion supercharged his telekinetic powers (thanks to Emma Frost's telepathic unlocking) in order to rush her back to the mansion where she was healed by Elixir.

As Hellion recovered his strength, and found that his power levels had been massively enhanced, Laura kept watch over him.[7][3] Emma confronted Laura, asking her to leave the school because of the trigger scent. Their confrontation was cut short by Cessily coming to Laura's defense. Cessily pursued Laura, the two went out for coffee. However, the cafe was attacked by Kimura and her minions, who had come not to capture Laura, but Cessily.[3] Laura went back to the Xavier Institute where Hellion informed he was going with her to attack against the Facility. The two found a facility hideout where Laura interrogated a man at gun point. Julian was shocked when X-23 shot him in the head upon securing the information she needed. After an encounter with Kimura, the two found Cessily in liquid form, barely able to compose herself. They were attacked by Predators and saved by the combined forces of the X-Men and the New X-Men.

X-23 aided the X-Men in their fight against the Hulk. X-23 managed to knock over the Hulk and tore his eyes out. Eventually his eyes grew back, and he defeated X-23 by throwing her into a wall.

X-Force

When Cyclops ordered Wolverine to assemble the new X-Force, X-23 was tossed into the mix. As they caught up to Cable, the Reavers attacked, and X-23 attacked Lady Deathstrike, seemingly killing her. At Muir Island, X-Force attacked the Marauders and Predator X. When Predator X swallowed Logan X-23 became angry and attacked, and Wolverine finally killed it.

During X-Force's raid on a Purifer base, Purifer leader Matthew Risman brought out a captive Wolfsbane at gunpoint. While Wolverine called for the team to stand down, X-23 activated a concealed detonator that set off a series of powerful explosives she had planted earlier without telling her teammates. The explosion brought most of the base down around them but Risman was able to escape with Rahne during the chaos.[10] When X-Force regrouped later, Wolverine admonished Laura for being so reckless with the lives of her teammates and for letting Rahne get kidnapped. During their battle against the Purifiers, X-23 was able to complete her mission from Cyclops by killing Risman.

X-Force was given a mission to capture the Vanisher and get back the Legacy Virus he managed to get his hands on. X-23 went with Archangel and Wolverine to complete the mission, but it ended in failure. When X-23 tried to kill herself due to becoming infected with the Legacy Virus, Elixir stopped her and got rid of the Legacy Virus.

Messiah War

X-23 later moved with the X-Men to San Francisco, where they were accepted as heroes by the mayor, having rejected the Fifty State Initiative. X-23 was roomed with Armor and Pixie. Laura left behind a towel covered with blood, which the latter brought to Emma Frost.

X-23 was finally reunited with Kiden Nixon. Sadly this future version of Kiden was hooked up to several machines and was used as a generator in order to create a temporal anomaly that disrupted time travel technology, essentially trapping X-Force (which was lethal for them if they didn't return within 33.5 hours), Cable and Hope in that era. While X-23 agonized over killing Kiden or not (Kiden herself asked for death) the matter was taken out her hands when Domino shot and killed her. X-23, Domino and Proudstar were dispatched back in order to save Boom-Boom, however both Domino and Proudstar fell ill due to the time travel. Feeling grateful for saving her friend and ending her suffering, X-23 disabled the time travel devices on the other two and went back in time in order to save Boom-Boom herself. She arrived just in time to stop the Leper Queen before she could kill Boom Boom out of spite for X-Force not killing her. X-23 then collapsed in exhaustion. H.A.M.M.E.R. then stormed the building, giving medical care, while they took X-23 in for questioning.

She was taken back to the Facility. There Laura was reunited with Kimura, who sawed off her left arm. Agent Morales arrived and helped Laura to escape. The rest of X-Force arrived and took Laura and her severed claws home. Laura was able to regrow her arm, and, at her request, Dr. Nemesis replaced the regrown bone claws with her original adamantium claws.

Finding Herself

After the return of the so-called "Mutant Messiah", Laura began having nightmares of a demonic Wolverine. Cyclops suggests she try volunteering at a nearby halfway house for depowered mutants. Laura blacked out, and found the building burning down around her. She was taken to a hospital, and believed she was responsible for the fire and the deaths of almost all the occupants. Wolverine (currently possessed by a demon) entered and attempted to convince Laura that she has no soul. She stabbed him just as Julian walked in. Following this, Laura decided to leave Utopia to go out and find herself so that she could be more than just a killer. Gambit tracks her down after taking an interest in her, believing that he can help her find herself.

They first encounter Miss Sinister who convinces them to come with her to one of Mr. Sinister's hideouts where she has been taking care of several children that Mr. Sinister experimented on. Miss Sinister betrays them however and reveals that Mr. Sinister has been taking over her body and in order to evade death she attempts to move her consciousness into X-23's body. The process fails however and Gambit triggers the self-destruct sequence and escapes together with X-23. Their next journey takes them to Madripoor where they encounter Malcom Colcord who is trying to restart the Weapon X program, as well as Daken, Wolverine's son. Gambit, X-23 and Daken make an uneasy alliance despite Gambits better judgement and they manage to drive Colcord out.

They find out that Colcord has been developing the trigger scent that drives X-23 into a killing rage and has found a way to make it effect ordinary people. They follow the scents trace to Paris where they encounter Wolverine and newly turned vampire Jubilee. They all team up to find the scent and manage it but fail to find the person running things. X-23 also strikes up a new friendship with Jubilee. They next travel to New York where they encounter the Future Foundation. A demon king has escaped from his prison and due to her previous status as host of the Enigma Force X-23 is instrumental in re-imprisoning him.

With the help of the Enigma Force, X-23 manages to return him to the dimension that is his prison and escape, saving Valeria Richards in the process and earning the trust of the Future Foundation. She is asked to babysit Valeria and her brother by Sue Storm but is pulled into the Collector's space ship together with the kids and Hellion who stopped by in order to win Laura back. They manage to defeat the Collector and make their way back but upon returning, Laura breaks all ties with Hellion. She and Gambit eventually part ways, as Laura chooses to go the Avengers Academy, not feeling that she belongs with either X-Men team anymore while Gambit chooses to go to Westchester with Wolverine.

Avengers Academy

After the events of Fear Itself, Laura joined the Avengers Academy. Reptil, possessed by a future version of himself, made a comment to Hazmat, making her think that Laura was hitting on Mettle. She butts heads with Hazmat for quite some time until she proves herself to truly be on the Avengers' side. She chooses to stay with the Avengers after freeing her former X-Man peers to fight in the Avengers vs X-Men conflict. Right now she has been kidnapped by Arcade and the others in Avengers Academy.

Circle of Four

X-23 tracked down to Las Vegas the man who stole her blood, who turned out to be Blackheart, he cloned her and bonded the clones with symbiotes, creating Symbiote Warriors.

Laura then made an alliance with Venom, Red Hulk (who was there chasing Venom) and Ghost Rider (who noticed the presence of Blackheart). Each four of them fought their Anthithesis until they were all finally killed. Laura killed the Symbiote warriors and then she moved to Blackheart who distracted her by telling her since he created her clones he knew if the clones had souls or not and she was herself a clone. Wanting to know if she had a soul or not she stopped, and Blackheart mockingly told her that she was in hell and she was suffering which meant she did have a soul. Then he seemingly killed her by throwing her into lava. In Hell, Mephisto offered the heroes a new chance to live in exchange for defeating Blackheart. While X-23 found Blaze, the other three managed to get the Spirit of Vengeance, which had been trapped by Blackheart, and wanted to get it to Blaze, so he would become Ghost Rider again. During the battle, Red Hulk and Venom were thrown away by Blackheart, Flash gave the symbiote to Red Hulk and it bonded with him as well as the Spirit, thus becoming the new Ghost Rider.

Blackheart was defeated when Ghost Rider used a mirror which created Antitheses, being defeated by his. Meanwhile, X-23 and Flash were trying to help Johnny Blaze to return Hell from the dimensional portal and destroy it. When Las Vegas returned to normal, Red Hulk returned the symbiote to Flash and the Spirit of Vengeance to Alejandra. After the Secret Avengers arrived, X-23 left the scene.

Avengers Arena

X-23 along with 15 other people were kidnapped by Arcade and transported to Murderworld. Arcade forces all 15 people including X-23 to take place in a game of kill all or be killed. Arcade has stated he will only allow 1 of the 16 to live.

The games begin after Mettle sacrifices himself for Hazmat. As the groups separate Laura joins the remaining Avengers Academy students, which included Reptil, Hazmat, and Juston Seyfert. The group were then accidentally attacked by the female Deathlok named Rebecca Ryker who attacked Hazmat as a defense protocol.

After a few days a unknown enemy has begun to attack the camps. Laura begins to investigate the attacks. During the search Juston disappears after he was attacked while repairing his Sentinel. Laura soon came into contact with Cammi who she spared after she found out that it was not her attacking the camps.

Laura later meeting up with Hazmat and Reptil encounter the Runaways, Nico and Chase for shelter in exchange they will share food. The team agree, that until Reptil is suddenly hurt by a fire blast which Laura and her team believe is Chase doing. The group then banishes Nico and Chase away as the trio remain together.

Reptil begins to recover later on and informs both X-23 and Hazmat that it wasn't Chase but Deathlocket who attacked him. It wasn't too long after that Hazmat stepped on a switch to activate a trigger scent causing Laura to go feral and attempt to kill her team members. Hazmat and Reptil manage to escape, and left Laura on her own. She would later encounter Juston Seyfert once she regained her senses, and see that he was alive but in bad condition.

All-New X-Men

Following her rescue from Murderworld, Laura somehow ended up wandering the streets of Miami in an amnesiac state, where she was rescued from a Purifier attack by Kitty Pryde and the time-displaced original X-Men.They returned her to Cyclops's base, where she panicked upon awakening inside a Weapon X facility and attempted to flee, the situation being exacerbated by confusion over seeing younger versions of Cylops, Jean, Iceman, Beast and Angel. The teenaged Scott managed to catch up with her and managed to calm her down after recognizing Cyclops's scent. Though still confused, her memories started to return. When the X-Men attacked the Purifiers, they were caught off guard by Jason Stryker and captured. At the Purifier's base, X-23 was captured and tortured nearly to death repeatedly by the Purifiers with videos of Murderworld. The rest of the X-Men managed to escape, and found X-23. When Cyclops found Laura, she surprised himSeeing the stress she was under, Cyclops surprised her with a hug, explaining to the bemused X-23 that it looked like she needed one.

Based on Laura's intelligence the team launched an attack against William Stryker, Jr., which failed catastrophically and the entire team was captured, though upon recognizing them as having come from the past, Stryker refrained from killing them to prevent damage to the timeline. Laura, however, he tortured by showing her the footage from Murderworld that Arcade released to the internet, including prominent imagery of her attacking the other kids in a trigger scent-induced rage. Seeing herself in this state, and the knowledge that the entire world has also seen it, finally broke her control, and when Cyclops broke free and rescued her, she threw herself into his arms for comfort.

X and the rest of the team returned to base following their escape from the Purifiers, but they would have little time to relax. Laura was busy blowing off steam in the Danger Room under Kitty's supervision when the Shi'Ar, having learned that Jean Grey had returned, attacked and took her captive. Laura fought in her defense along with the rest of the team, but was neutralized, and the Shi'ar escaped to put Jean on trial for actions her elder self committed while in possession of the Phoenix Force.

The Guardians of the Galaxy arrived just as the Shi'Ar fled, and the teams joined forces to bring her back. The Guardians' ship was attacked by a Shi'ar warship covering the kidnappers' withdrawal, and though Laura intended to join in the defense, Gamora declined her assistance, though praised her courage, leaving her and the rest of the X-Men to sit and wait. The arrival of Corsair and The Starjamers turned the tide of the battle, and the teenaged Scott was stunned and overwhelmed to learn his father was still alive. As he went to digest this in private, Laura followed after him and, after a brief conversation, returned the hug he gave her when they first met, noting that he needed it.

Upon arrival at the Shi'ar homeworld, Quill helped to formulate the plan of attack. X-23, knowing Jean's scent, volunteered to track her. However Gladiator, having anticipated their arrival, met them upon disembarking, and a fight between the combined forces of the X-Men, Shi'ar, and Starjammers against Gladiator's forces began, in which X-23 participated. Ultimately, the conflict was resolved by Jean herself, who had already escaped imprisonment and manifested a new power combining her telekinesis and telepathy, and drawing upon the psychic energy of all those around her. Gladiator ultimately stood down, and Jean and the X-Men were permitted to depart.

Upon returning to Earth, Cyclops chose to remain with his father and departed the team, asking Laura to help keep an eye on his friends. Distraught by his leaving, Laura decided to leave the team herself, with only the teenaged Warren realizing she was doing so. She rebuffed his attempt to convince her return, however, and continued on her way. Much to her surprise she ran into Cyclops, who claimed to have returned. However this turned out to be a ruse, and with her guard down Raze, who had disguised himself as Scott, easily overwhelmed and gutted her, before disguising himself as her in turn and infiltrating the X-Men's base.

Laura herself, however, survived his attack and hurried back to find the X-Men under attack by the Future Brotherhood. Jean used her telepathy to mask Laura's presence, and enabled her to catch Xavier, Jr. off guard,at which point she severely wounded him with her claws, breaking his control over the X-Men and enabling them to fight back. During the conflict it was discovered that Molly Hayes, Deadpool and Beast had been mentally controlled by Xavier, and that Xorna no longer existed. While Laura fought Raze to a standstill, Xavier attempted to flee, only to be captured.

In the aftermath of the battle, Warren invited Laura out on a date to unwind, to which she reluctantly agreed. The pair ended up at a goth club where a night of dancing ended in a brawl when some of the club-goers took exception to Warren accidentally striking them with his wings. Laura might have killed one of the thugs during the fight when he grabbed her by the hair, but Warren was able to stop her. The pair took advantage of the opportunity to escape, and flew back to one of the Worthington family's retreats, where they spent some time talking. Laura found herself confused why Warren would be interested in her, but admitted she was enjoying herself. It is implied that the couple had sex.

Upon returning to base the next morning (just in time to watch Cyclops, Emma Frost, and several others depart for the reading of Charles Xavier's will), Laura requested Warren be a gentleman and not discuss what happened the night before, and Warren, for his part, held up his end when questioned by Bobby, though Jean briefly confronted her about it, and encouraging her to pursue the relationship. Any such thoughts would have to wait, however, as Cerebra's detection of a new mutant convinced Jean that the team was ready to help them on their own.

The team took off and located her, but when confronted with the knowledge the girl panicked and opened a portal to another universe, stranding the team and scattering them.X found herself turning up in the middle of a football field during a game and, after an altercation with the players led to a police chase, she made her way back to Canada, where she met up with Warren who had ended up in the Savage Land. Warren's relief to see her safe was interrupted by the arrival of Jimmy Hudson (Earth-1610), who had tracked Warren after encountering him in Antarctica. Hudson revealed that in this universe, mutants were not a naturally evolution, but the result of genetic experimentation, and stunned Laura by announcing his father was Wolverine.

The Logan Legacy

News of Logan's death reached Laura sometime after their return from Earth-1610. Angry and upset, and questioning her role in life now that the man she looked to most for guidance was gone, she departed the X-Men to do some soul-searching. Laura ended up in a nightclub blowing off steam and was in the midst of being propositioned (and mostly politely telling the John that though she did once sell her body, this was no longer the case) when the club was attacked by a gang of disaffected youths calling themselves the Happy Clams. Laura immediately sprung into action to fight them off, and her willingness to use lethal force put her temporarily at odds with another hero come to disrupt the attack named Chinook, who prevented her from killing the leader of the group. He did, however, help her escape the site of the battle once the police arrived and brought her to his safehouse, where he revealed he already knew who she was, and his own identity: former Alpha Flight member Colin Hume.

Hume revealed that after being depowered during M-Day he was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and decided he would rather continue fighting and making a difference. He tells her about the importance of colors and symbols, and how putting on his costume has meaning to people beyond just his actions. Laura then agreed to assist him in an attack on Pink Pearl, who was organizing the Clams. Afterwards she returned to the X-Men, revealing she had taken her talk with Hume to heart; in honor of Logan she had dyed the forelocks of her hair blue and gold, and remarked to Kitty that she not longer felt angry about Wolverine's death, just sad, but that she has also found a source of pride in their relationship.

Sometime later Laura was captured at the orders of a mysterious masked individual who had also kidnapped Daken, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Mystique and Elixir. He revealed that Dr. Cornelius of the Weapon X project had captured them all at some point in the past and implanted several trigger words into them that would allow them to be controlled or killed at a word. Their captor offered to assist them in escaping Cornelius's control on condition that they assist him with a particular task which also concerned them greatly. If they refuse, he would use the trigger word to kill them.

Powers

Telekinesis: was massive enough that Madelyne could move, lift, and manipulate fairly large objects, channel her telekinetic powers to fire powerful, mental, concussive blasts, focus her psionic energy into a near-impenetrable force field, and levitate herself in order to fly at fairly high speeds. On a few occasions, she could make images in her mind become tangible.

Telepathy: Can read and manipulate the minds of others and even higher order animals within a vast, potentially limitless, radius. Her notable powers include:

Telepathic Cloak: Can mask her presence from being detected by others. Her abilities can, at times, go undetected or be counteracted by ,more powerful, telepaths depending on their level of skill in using their own psi abilities. She can : these defenses to others around her as well.

Psionic Shield: Ability to erect a psychic shield for protection of herself and of others minds.

Telepathic Camouflage: Ability to mask herself, and other peoples' presence from those around her. Can telepathically disguise herself, making her appearance to those around her quite different (changing the appearance of clothing, as well as more involved disguising).

Mind Control: Ability to control the minds of others upon mere concentration. Astral Teleportation

Mind Possession: Ability to possess the mind of another, and use that beings body as her own.

Mind Alteration: Ability to alter the minds of others by force of will, changing their personality partially or entirely.

Mind Transferral: Able to transfer both her mind and powers into other host bodies if her own physical body could be somehow killed.

Mental Detection: Can sense the presence of another superhuman mutant within a small but as yet undefined radius of himself by perceiving the distinctive mental radiations emitted by such a being.

Induce Pain: Can also induce mental pain merely by touching the brow of her victim.

Astral Projection: Can project her astral form from her body onto astral planes or the physical planes. In the physical plane, she can travel in astral form over vast distances. In the astral plane, she can mentally create psionic objects and manipulate the aspects of her environment. She can communicate with others astrally through her own will or through contact with the thoughts and memories of others.

Astral Teleportation: Teleport over long distances by psychokinetically shunting herself in and out of the astral plane (she was also shown to be able to carry additional weight, such as another person, when she teleported, but her limits were never fully tested).

Psionic Siphoning: able to siphon the psychic energies from other psionic mutants. She could then use the stolen psychic energy to boost her own powers or channel the energy into someone else, usually Nate Grey, to temporarily increase their psionic abilities.

Psychic Vampirism: Though it is not confirmed in the pages of X-Man it is strongly hinted that Madelyne either learned new powers from Selene or stole some of her powers. The ability to teleport, and the ability to drain mutants energies were both examples of Selene's influence. This was further hinted at in X-Man #52 when she was shown to be aged and withered after over-exerting her powers much like Selene.

Phoenix spark: After her reconstitution as a psychic being, Pryor was apparently still connected to the Phoenix Force. It was strongly hinted in X-Man #33 that Madelyne is indeed a living spark of the Phoenix which explains why Nate was able to psionically recreate her, though she is in truth only a living mass of psionic energy.

Sorcery: Madelyne possesses the ability to cast a wide variety of simple and complex spells. Her sorcery might is such that she has been shown to heal wounds, locate spirits interdimensionally, and work in conjunction with science to restore life to the long dead.

Reality Warping: ability to bend the quantum strings that make up reality within a localized area.

History: Mr. Sinister, sensing the potential of Jean Grey's powers wanted to kill her parents and take her to his orphanage but his plans were stopped since Jean was already being treated by Charles Xavier, and he thought that approaching a powerful telepath would be too dangerous. Although, he was able to take a blood sample from her. With the blood sample Sinister took, he cloned Jean Grey, and Madelyne Pryor was born. When the clone reached puberty she didn't manifest any mutant ability, so Sinister was disappointed.

When Jean Grey died on the moon, the Phoenix Force returned to Earth and entered Madelyne's body since it was looking for Jean's genetic material. Sinister, seeing that his creation was finally reaching the potential he always hoped for, gave her the name Madelyne Pryor and created a background for her that consisted of her being a pilot and the only survivor of a plane accident. Sinister also noted that she had some memories that belonged to Jean Grey.

Sinister was obsessed with the Summers lineage, so he placed her to work for Philip Summers at his airline, knowing that one day she would meet with Scott Summers and inevitably fall in love since she was identical to Jean, and she had some memories of her.

Creation:

Madelyne first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #168 and was created by Chris Claremont. Infamously, some years before this issue there was a red-haired child in a hospital in Avengers Annual #10 (also by Claremont) that called herself "Maddy Pryor". It has since been confirmed that the child was not Madelyne Pryor and Claremont just happened to like the name which is in fact a homage to a folk singer called Maddy Prior.

Meeting Scott and Marriage:

One day, when Corsair returned from space, he took both of his sons to go see their grandparents in Alaska. Madelyne was sent to pick them up. Scott was shocked; she looked just like his deceased girlfriend. Since they were both naturally attracted to each other, they started a relationship. Scott noted some strange things occurring, like her knowing what his favorite breakfast was and more shockingly, that the day she had her plane accident was the very same day Jean Grey died.

Scott told her about Jean; she became insecure wondering if he was in love with her face or in love with the person she was. But when Scott told her that he was a mutant, she began trusting him. She was introduced to the rest of the X-Men when she went to Japan with Scott to attend Wolverine and Mariko's wedding. When Corsair was ready to leave for space with the Starjammers again, he asked Scott to join him as a space adventurer. Scott was thinking over it hard and asked Madelyne if she would accompany him if he left Earth. She said that he should not hold back on her account. Scott soon asked her to marry him and finally decided not to leave Earth.

Mastermind was following them because he wanted revenge on what the Phoenix had done to him. Using his illusions he made Scott doubt even further to the point that he asked Madelyne directly if she was Jean Grey reincarnated. This obviously made Maddie angry and sad. As she ran off, Scott followed her and Mastermind made him believe he was pushed back by a force blasted from the Dark Phoenix. The battle extended to the Xavier Institute, but the ploy was finally discovered by Cyclops, and Mastermind was defeated.

After Scott said some words to Jean's grave, he and Madelyne finally got married at the Xavier State. At their honeymoon they were attacked by some beasts. Scott realized that it was time to retire and start a normal life and a family, since his life rhythm puts Maddie in danger. They moved to Anchorage, the place were they first met, and began working as pilots.

Anodyne:

On one occasion they were transporting some scientists, when they were transported by Loki into a magical realm. The X-Men and Alpha Flight were also carried there along with many people that were believed to be lost who were living surprisingly happily. In this world, humans could gain powers from a magical fountain. Madelyne gained the power of healing, and began calling herself "Anodyne". Her power was so immense that she was able to give Cyclops and Rogue control over their powers. She also made Puck a normal sized human again.

Professor X confirmed what she was already suspecting. Madelyne was pregnant with Scott's baby. She knew it was a boy and this made Rachel angry, since she thought that she was never going to be born. It was revealed that Loki had planned all along that when a person used the powers they received, they would lose all individual creativity and imagination. Also, for the fountain to work, it drained its energy from other magical beings, like Snowbird who was close to death. When everyone realized what Loki's true intentions were, they went against him. Loki was forced by Those Who Sit ABove In Shadow to restore everyone to their original state. Every person healed by Madelyne was also returned to their prior state.

Motherhood:

When she was far along with her pregnancy, Moira MacTaggert called, she wanted Cyclops to go and look for Charles for a while, since he was ill. When she felt it was about time to give birth to their child, she wanted Cyclops to be present, and she went to the mansion at Westchester, but Cyclops wasn't there. None of the X-Men or New Mutants were present at the time. They had just come back from Asgard, and were attending Magneto's trial in Paris. So she entered labor and gave birth all by herself.

When Scott came back, he didn't show any emotion towards his newborn child. He was more worried about the future of the X-Men, since Professor X left for deep space with Lilandra, to save his life. Scott wanted to lead the X-Men, but Storm thought that he needed to be with his family and challenged him to a duel for leadership and won. Scott left the X-Men and returned with Maddie and the baby to Alaska. The little boy was named Nathan, a name mentally implanted by Sinister. Both were having communication problems, mainly on Scott's account.

Scott received a call from Warren Worthington telling him that Jean Grey was alive. This shocking news made a tremendous impact on Scott, and he immediately left Maddie and the baby to see Jean for himself. He didn't even tell his wife what happened. Maddie told him that if he left them, he shouldn't bother to come back. While Scott was away he formed the original X-Factor, with the original X-Men as members.

At this time with Scott away, Sinister ordered the Marauders to kill Maddie and bring the baby to him. When she was on a job, the Marauders shot her several times, left her to die and took the baby. She didn't die however as she was taken to a hospital were she stayed in coma for months. Sinister also erased every trace that could show that Maddie ever existed. When she woke up, no one believed her story about a missing baby and a husband. Since no record on her was available, she didn't know what to do so called the X-Men (Scott was still with X-Factor). The X-Men appeared and saved her from a second attack from the Marauders. Havok swore that he would protect her all the time she needs and will amend for his brother's mistakes.

Joining the X-Men:

When the X-Men were battling The Adversary, Forge needed the soul of nine people to defeat him, since there were only eight X-Men present, Maddie offered herself as the ninth person . Since the whole incident was being televised she addressed the camera and said goodbye to Scott and asked him to look for their missing baby.

The X-Men were brought back to life by Roma. They kept it a secret to use it as an advantage with their enemies. They moved to a secret base in Alaska. During this time, Maddie and her brother in law, Alex Summers began a sexual relationship, since both of them were lonely and felt like they could understand each other. During all this time with the X-Men, she served as the technical and mechanical support at the base. One day she was watching the news, and X-Factor appeared on them, Cyclops was giving an interview and at his side was Jean Grey. Angry as she finally understood why Scott left her, she smashed the screen and the explosion rendered her unconscious. Various ideas entered her mind, that Scott only married her for her resemblance to Jean, that he never really loved her. The demon S'ym invaded her dreams and offered her the chance to get revenge on Cyclops, she accepted it and the demonic magic entered her body.

A while later she was captured by the Magistrates and taken to Genosha. They got strange readings on her she presented some kind of power manifestation but wasn't a mutant. When she was taken to the mutate bonding process, the whole room exploded and everyone in it died, except her. When she was questioned about it she didn't remember what happened. She was later rescued by the X-Men. She continued her relationship with Havok and made another deal with a demon, this time N'astirh,. He promised to find her baby and to help her get revenge on all who hindered her relationship and life in general. N'astirh turned Madelyne subconsciously at first into the Goblin Queen.

Goblin Queen:

She visited Jean Grey's grave, where John and Elaine Grey found her, and thought she was their daughter. This made Maddie angry and she turned them into demons. She followed a clue N'astirh gave her about her son and went to the orphanage were Scott grew up, she found Sinister, who finally revealed that she was just a clone created by him to have a baby from the Summers lineage and that she already served her purpose. She was much more powerful than he had imagined and she managed to escape from him. N'astirh convinced her that she should sacrifice the little baby Nathan, that way he could ensure the demonic presence on Earth. She thought that this way she could get revenge on the people that had hurt her the most, Cyclops and Sinister. She turned back into her normal Madelyne Pryor appearance and convinced the X-Men that Cyclops and X-Factor were after her baby. Both of the teams began fighting. She managed to take Havok and turned him into her "Goblin Prince".

At one point the X-Men and X-Factor decided that they should be working together on defeating the demons, they did and finally destroyed N'astirh.Illyana Rasputin AKA Magik, managed to get all the demons back to Limbo, only the Goblin Queen was left. She had incredible powers and posed a real serious threat. At one point she encased herself and Jean at an impenetrable telekinetic bubble. Her hatred for Jean made her take the decision to telepathically link the two of them, and kill herself, so Jean would feel all the pain and experience of her death. When she passed away the portion of the Phoenix Force that entered her body and all of her memories went to Jean. Jean who inherited Maddie's memories also inherited her maternal feelings too, she and Scott were raising the baby. Until he was infected by the techno-organic virus by Apocalypse. Scott was forced to take the difficult decision of sending him with an unknown presence, that promised that the baby would survive. This was how Cable was born.

The Return of Maddie

When Nate Grey came to earth 616 from the Age of Apocalypse, he was looking for a helping hand, and found Madelyne's spirit on the Astral Plane. Subconsciously, with his immense power he gave her psyche a new material form. She remembered nothing of her life, with the exception of her hatred of Sinister and the existence of a group called X-Men. Selene who was at the time the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club recognized her and took her to Paris.

Over the following weeks Selene managed to tempt Madelyne with more power than she could dream, making her a psy-vamp of sorts. Selene sent Maddie to defeat and capture Trevor Fitzroy, she did it. Selene presented her to Sebastian Shaw as the new Black Rook, he tested her, and she passed easily by defeating the Scribe of the London hellfire branch and in the process pulling out Mountjoy from her.

One night Tessa was trying to probe Maddie's mind, Madelyne discovered her and defeated her. She also erased her mind to make her forget the incident. This little encounter made Maddie recover her memories. Accessing her full memories she parted from Hellfire Club, and went to look for X-Man, but he was with Jean Grey, they discovered how she came back to life, and thought that she was no more than a psionic ghost, but when X-Man tried to reverse the effect of his powers he discovered he couldn't, that she was a whole independent entity now thanks to Selene enhancements. Maddie was angry and went to look comfort with Sebastian Shaw and they shared a night together. During a time she continued her relationship with Shaw, even dated in public sometimes. But when the Hellfire Club had a confrontation with Cable, she decided to help her son and gave him the location of Shaw. She then quits the Hellfire Club.

Later she went to look for X-Man again, she helped him in a battle and insisted that despite his feelings she would stay with him. Eventually he grow fond of her, when he experienced a lost of his abilities, she was there to help him. Their relationship was weird, they shared traits of friendship, love and family. Eventually she left him, after being defeated and buried alive by some enemies, this left her withered and drained and so she retreated to the Astral Plane where she spent her time recuperating.

She had a meeting with her son, Cable, on the Astral Plane. She told him everything about who he was and how he was born. She offered him to join forces and rule the world together, he obviously refused her. He then met with her and made peace with his mother.

She was seen again seen with X-Man, she was apparently killed and placed at the astral plane. She remained as a ghost there. When Apocalypse gathered the twelve, Cyclops and Cable were among them. Cable who believed he was about to die, asked to be reunited for the first time with his father and mother. Maddie granted his wish and they reunited at the Astral Plane, she offered them to stay like that forever, but the felt that even if they were going to lose, they must fight Apocalypse. They asked for her help, but she told them that in her current state she was unable to help.

Red Queen and Sisterhood of Mutants

She remained trapped in the astral plane for a very long time, when she noticed that she was not as helpless as she thought, she still had access to the demonic powers she had as the Goblin Queen, so she manifested herself on the real world again, this time she went by the alias of "Red Queen". As the Red Queen, she started a sadomasochistic relation with Empath, she wanted to learn everything on Cyclop's current partner, Emma Frost. She even psionically impersonated Emma Frost and had sex with Cyclops, without him noticing the difference.

She managed to make Empath have a place among the X-Men in the mansion, so he could spy on them for her and even control them with his powers. She then assembled a team she called the Sisterhood of Mutants, it consisted of: Spiral, Lady Deathstrike, Lady Mastermind, Martinique Jason and Chimera. She promised several things for them. Her main intention was to look for a body that could sustain a powerful mind as hers, so she could finally fully return.

She needed to test the process, so she sent some of the members of the Sisterhood to capture Psylocke, and others to take Revanche body from the graveyard. Spiral reconstructed Revanche's body as most as she could. Using the magical spell, she infused the body with the psi-force of Psylocke. She sent her Sisterhood to fight with the X-Men, while she tried to complete her plan, that was to put her mind into Jean Grey's body. She succeeded and left her own body in the tomb. As Jean Grey, she resumes her position as Red Queen.

Affiliation: The Avengers, SHIELD, Asgardians, Thor Corps, God Squad
Face Claim: Chris Hemsworth

Appearance:

Costume

Base of Operations: Hulkland
Powers:

  • Asgardian/Elder God Hybrid Physiology: Biologically half-Asgardian on his father's side and half-Elder God on his mother's side; Thor possesses a number of superhuman attributes common among the Asgardian and other gods. However, due to his unique birth, some are considerably more developed than those of the vast majority of his race. Thor's skin, muscle, and bone tissues have several times the density of the same tissues in the body of a human being, contributing to his superhuman weight. He is invulnerable to powerful energy blasts, weighted impacts, falls from great heights, explosions and various other opposing forces. Even without his godly power Thor is still physically the strongest and most durable of all the Asgardians.

  • Life Force:  Also known as the God-Force. The godly energies that fuel all of Thor's godlike powers. Thor's immortal life-force is more powerful than the mystical properties of Mjolnir. Unlike many other deities, Thor's unique Life-force allows him to have full access to all of his powers regardless of what realm he enters. The only beings so far that has been shown to affect Thor's God-force are Odin, Dormammu, and Odin's raven in the form of Marnot. Thor's God-force is also the key to him using the God-blast.

  • Godly Strength: In addition to being the God of Thunder, Thor is also the Asgardian God of Strength, as such he is physically the strongest of the Asgardian gods His feats include destroying an arch weighing over a million tons, crumbling Uru into dust, lifting the Midgard Serpent, who was large enough to coil around the Earth from head to tail multiple times over and crush it in its grip. Pushing the Worldengine, which reversed the Yggdrasil Tree. Thor nearly killed Angrir with a powerful blow, who had defeated the base level Red Hulk (He grows much more powerful from absorbing energy). His clash against Gorr shattered entire worlds.  He effortlessly threw a piece of star core at the god-bomb.[80] He also physically held together the fissures of a badly damaged moon, and mended it with his lightning. As it stands, Thor is one of the strongest beings in the Universe.

  • Invulnerability: Being a god whose heritage is both half-Asgardian and half-Elder God affords Thor virtual invulnerability and immunity to such human ailments as diseases, toxins, poisons, corrosives, fire, electrocution, asphyxiation, and lead and radiation poisoning. Thor can drink mead all day long and not become drunk.[citation needed] Thor has flown through the heart of stars. He withstood what he thought to be the weight of a score of planets. Thor was able to survive direct multiple blasts from the Asgardian Destroyer. Thor also once took a glancing hit by a Doomsday Bomb that was capable of ravaging an entire planet, and soon after that explosion he fell from space (leaving a crater miles wide) to a planet called Pangoria. He has withstood a blast from Odin, and even survived blasts from Celestials.

  • Superhuman Speed: Thor can move at extreme speeds. Thor can fly to the sun in a matter of minutes. Thor was even able to strike down a moving Quicksilver and has claimed to have fought foes faster than him. He can throw Mjolnir at several times the speed of light and also swing Mjolnir at several times the speed of light while his strength was reduced in half. It has been established that the speed of Thor's hammer transcends both time & space. In addition, Thor can appear anywhere across the Universe or other dimensions in just seconds. Thor could visually detect objects that move at fantastic speeds (this happened when Thor was the target of artillery fire and when he saw the speedy Hermes. Thor once stated that he was as fast as the lightning he commands. Thor can twirl his cape so fast that he creates a tornado.

  • Godly Stamina: Thor's advanced musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human and most other Asgardians. His virtually inexhaustible stamina enables him to hold his breath for an undefined period of time, and exert himself at peak capacity for months without tiring at all. Using the Belt of Strength also doubles his stamina. While in the state of Warrior's Madness, Thor's stamina also increased tenfold.

  • Godly Senses: Thor's superhuman sense's allow him to see objects as far out as the edge of the Solar System, allow him to track objects traveling faster than light, and hear cries from the other side of the planet.

  • Healing Factor: As stated previously, Thor is not invulnerable to all harm and it is possible to injure him. But due to Thor’s unique physiology he is able to heal from most injuries much faster than a human being could. Thor has displayed the ability to regenerate his liver when it was vitrified, and was able to heal his two broken wrists in a matter of hours. This healing factor is said to be much stronger than that of the typical Asgardian God. With the use of Mjolnir, Thor can also regenerate his clothes.

  • Longevity: It is a common misconception that Thor and the other Gods of Asgard are truly immortal. Thor and the other members of his race do age but at a rate so slow that to other beings they give the appearance of immortality. Thor has been stated to be thousands of years old which makes his life span incomparable to that of the human beings which he protects. When the Asgardians consume the Golden Apples that are cultivated by the goddess Idunn, they are able to maintain themselves in their physical prime.

  • Super Breath: Thor can expel his breath with such force that it resembles hurricane force winds.

  • Flight: Although he mainly relies on Mjolnir, Thor can fly just as easily without the hammer.

  • Self Sustenance: Thor has shown to be able to easily survive in dangerous environments like the bottom of the ocean or deep space. He also has no need to eat, drink, or sleep.

  • Earth Control: After his resurrection, Thor has accepted his heritage as a child of the Elder Goddess Gaea and gained the ability to control the Earth. He has demonstrated this ability by being able to create continental-spanning chasms and earthquakes that are off the Richter Scale in the Earth itself. He can control landslides and avalanches.

  • Transcend Dimensions: When he was trapped in the Tesseract (a pocket universe prison) from the Collector, Thor determined the boundaries of the Tesseract and escaped.

  • Energy Manipulation: Thor has stated that he relies on the power of Mjolnir too often. Mjolnir does afford powers and abilities that he would not normally have, but Mjolnir is a tool, and Thor has natural energy manipulation abilities without Mjolnir. During Ragnarok, Thor had seen his family and friends fall to Loki's army and he reached down into himself for strength he never realized before and projected an energy blast so powerful that he knocked out Durok the Demolisher, who was so powerful that Thor, even with Mjolnir, was barely able to hold his own against. He can project an omni-directional blast as well.

  • Weather Manipulation: Thor usually uses Mjolnir to channel his storm abilities but he is capable of discharging lightning bolts from his hands. He also summoned a lightning bolt from the sky without Mjolnir to strike Hogun to revive him from near death. He summoned a lightning bolt to strike Hercules to break his grip on him. He once mended together a badly damaged moon with his lightning. Beyond lightning, Thor can conjure and control all elements of a storm such as rain and high winds.

  • Memory Alteration: Thor calls this the 'Gift of Forgetfulness'. He took away Jane Foster's memories of her being kidnapped by Loki and a reporter's experience in Asgard.

  • All Tongue: When Thor speaks with the All-Tongue anyone who hears him will hear him speak their native language in their hearts.

Abilities:

  • Indomitable Will: Thor has shown to have a powerful force of will, so much so that he has defied the will of his father Odin, who is his king and is bound to serve him, on several occasions if he feels the need to do so. He does not back down from any foe, does not give into a fight and is willing to lay down his own life in defense of others.
  • Mind Resistance: Thor has the ability to resist the mental influence of powerful beings. He resisted a mind thrust attack of the Rigellians, the magical music of Ares, a mental attack from Glory, Morgana le Fay's attempt to dominate his mind, resisted the power of the Eye of Horus, and the mind blast of the Super-Beast.
  • Magical Knowledge:Thor was able to cast an illusion, after years watching Loki prowess in manipulating magic. He doesn't use his abilities much, but can when needed.
  • Multilingual:Thor knows and speaks all of the languages of the Nine Realms, Earth's dialects, and various alien languages
  • Skilled Tactician:For millenia, he has lead Asgard into battle against overwhelming forces with great leadership and employing strategies and tactics.
  • Leadership: Thor serves as the as the first choice to defend Asgard from it's enemies. He has earned the trust of his fellow Asgardians to follow him into battle. When Odin died after his battle with Surtur, all of Asgard was behind the idea to follow Thor as the new King of Asgard.

Weaknesses:

Warriors' Madness: Also known as the Sin Unpardonable. Warrior's Madness is the most forbidden malady in Asgard by law of Odin. Any who fall under it must pay the penalty, only the most bitter sacrifice can atone for it. Despite this allowing Thor to increase his strength and stamina tenfold, this threatens Thor's sanity and devolves his mind into a berserker rage. Symptoms include massive headaches, mentally erratic, savage, animalistic, uncontrollable behavior, and unreasoning.

History:
Thor's Story
http://marvel.wikia.com/Thor_%28Thor_Odinson%29#HistoryEdit (History stops after Dark Phoenix(Cyclops) is defeated)

After the Dark Phoenix was defeated, things went back to normal. Although normal is an extremely relative term, and normalcy never lasts for long on Midgard. Thor took a bit of time away to go back home and visit his people, his family and friends. He was enjoying himself as always, but he was Earth's protector and could never stay away too long. It was fortunate he returned when he did, as his brother and Doctor Doom joined forces and attacked the United States.

He fought back along with the other heroes and even some of the villains, but they had planned too well and had too much power. This would not be a battle Thor and the legions of good would win. The country was divided like spoils of war among the strongest and the victors. He lost Mjolnir as well, although that didn't slow him down much. Thor has never stopped fighting, and will continue to fight until he brings his brother to heel and returns things to the way they were meant to be.

Equipment:

  • Jarnbjorn: A battle axe forged by Dwarves that Thor wielded long before Mjolnir. Kang tricked Thor into placing an enchantment on it to in order to pierce the armor of Celestials or armor created using Celestial technology. Thor lost it centuries ago, but recently reclaimed it after losing Mjolnir in battle.
  • Megingjord: Also known as "The Belt of Strength," Meginjord is magical belt worn by the Thunder God that would double his natural strength and stamina. The belt is fueled by the Odin Force and can also increase the might of Mjolnir. When Odin fed a large amount of Odin Force into it, the belt increased Thor's strength so much that he was able to knockout a powered-up Thanos clone.

Personality: Thor is a warrior, plain and simple. He was born to combat and longs to die in combat. He is a strong and proud God, always willing to fight for what he believes is right until the bitter end. However while his pride is legendary, he is not prideful enough to jeapordize success or the safety of those he cares about because of it. He is far more cunning and intelligent than people assume, which he often uses to his advantage. People think you're dumb, so they never expect you to do something smart. Works every time. Sometimes Thor has been known to be trigger happy, and may make things worse by assuming the worst and acting on that assumption. (Like throwing his hammer at someones face without finding out their side of the story).

TheCorsair

Thanks for the invite, Lois!  I heard you all had an arrogance deficiency, so I've stepped up to help out with that!  :)

Character Name:  Namor, The Sub-Mariner
Player Name:  TheCorsair
Superhero/villain:  It's really a matter of opinion, isn't it?
Real Name:  Namor
Other Aliases:  The Sub-Mariner, Namor McKenzie, Namor the First, the Avenging Son, Sealord, Lord of the Seven Seas, the Scion of the Deep
Age:  110, as of 2015
Sexual Orientation:  Heterosexual
Base of Operations: Hulkland
Powers or Special Abilities:
  • Superhuman Strength: Namor is one of the most physically powerful beings on the planet.  At his peak he can lift thousands of tons, rend steel in his bare hands, and mold titanium like clay.  He is capable of going toe to toe with the Hulk on even terms.
  • Superhuman Speed and Agility:  Without unduly exerting himself, Namor can run at speeds over 100 miles per hour and swim at speeds exceeding 75 knots.  He can dodge bullets with some effort, casually pluck arrows out of the air, and capture hummingbirds in flight without harming them.
  • Superhuman Stamina and Durability:  At his peak, Namor can exert himself at full strength and activity for hours before fatigue begins to set in.  He is impervious to man-portable firearms, terminal velocity impacts, the crushing pressures of the Abyssal Plain, and most forms of radiation.
  • Aquatic Healing:  Namor heals at an accelerated rate, able to heal broken bones and torn muscles in a matter of hours at his peak.
  • Extended Longevity: The average Atlantean has a lifespan of about 120 years.  Namor is currently over a hundred years old, and is still in his physical prime.  At this time, his exact lifespan is unknown.  It is possible that he is functionally immortal.
  • Amphibious Breathing: Like all Atlanteans, Namor can breathe indefinitely underwater due to having gills located behind his ears. Unlike most Atlanteans, however, Namor can also breathe on land indefinitely as well without the aid of breathing devices whereas most Atlanteans can only survive being out of the water for a matter of minutes.
  • Aquatic Telepathy: Namor possesses a telepathic rapport with all, forms of marine life. He is able to mentally communicate with most forms of marine life and can mentally persuade them to do his bidding.
  • Flight:  The wings on Namor's ankles allow him to fly at speeds in excess of 300 miles per hour, and swim at speeds of over 150 knots.  None of the scientists or scholars of Atlantis understand why this is so, but when the wings have been injured he has been unable to fly until they were healed.
  • Enhanced Senses:  Namor can navigate by echolocation and by sensing pressure changes on his skin.  Underwater, this serves him as well as sight.  The abilities are not so useful in the thin atmosphere of the surface.  He can also see clearly in the darkness of the ocean depths.

Skills:
  • Expert Combatant and Tactician:  Namor has been trained in human and Atlantiean arts of war since the age of 8, and has fought in one war of the surface dwellers and three of the Atlanteans.  He is a master of all weapons and of hand-to-hand combat.  He is also accustomed to developing strategy, commanding armies, and leading men into battle.
  • Multilingual: Namor speaks virtually every language on Earth.
  • Engineer:  Although he does not possess the technical genius of a Reed Richards or a Tony Stark, Namor is a trained engineer capable of repairing and modifying Atlantean technology.

Disadvantages:
  • Dehydration:  Although his hybrid physiology grants him a number of advantages over that of a normal Atlantean, he is still highly dependent on water.  Over time, as his skin dries, his powers wane.  At his absolute weakest, he would be on a physical par with Captain America.
  • Heat:  Namor does not inherently sustain greater injury from fire and heat-based attacks than anyone else, but they do dehydrate him faster.

History:  Namor was raised in the courts of the King of Atlantis.  He was at first an outcast, a half-breed by-blow of the rebelliousness of his mother Fen and her dalliance with the human scientist Leonard McKenzie, kept close at hand more to keep him from becoming a potential rallying point for a coup than for any other reason.  This began to change, dramatically, at an early age.

By the age of four, he possessed the strength and agility of a grown Atlantean.  By the age of eight, he was far beyond being just a "physical progeny".  His powers were rumored to be a gift of Poseidon himself and his grandfather, King Thakorr, chose to begin grooming him as his chosen successor rather than risk having the powerful child rise against him to take the throne by force.  From that day forward, Namor was raised as a Prince of the Blood, trained in the arts of war, tutored in law and science and rhetoric, taught to believe that he would one day be the greatest ruler of the greatest nation that ever existed.

At the age of twenty, Namor left Atlantis to go questing, seeking to earn glory and build reknown for himself.  It was on this decade-long wanderjahr that he came across Atlantean communities, devastated and abandoned, and sought their attackers.  This led him to a HYDRA installation in the Mediterranean, where Dr. Heinrich Zemo, aided by the Atlantean Meranno, had been conducting grotesque experiments on captured Atlanteans in an effort to unlock the secrets of their enhanced physical abilities.  Namor destroyed the installation and freed those of his people that he could, but both Zemo and Meranno escaped.

Unfamiliar with the political distinctions between the surface world nations, Namor turned his rage on all air-breathers indiscriminately, sinking both military and civilian shipping.  A memorable attack on Long Island was thwarted by Steve Rogers and James Hammond.  Together, the two heroes were able to subdue Namor.  Once he learned the truth of what had happened, he swore to make amends by joining the Allied cause for the duration of the war.

With the end of the war and the disappearance of Captain America, Namor returned to the seas and to Atlantis.  He vanishes from the histories of the surface world at this point for several decades, caught up in internal politics as he struggled to secure his throne after his grandfather's passing.  He fought off a coup staged by the Atlantean general Krang, and defended his people from invasions by the Atlantean barbarian warlord Attuma.

When Doctor Doom and Loki united to assault the United States, Namor stood beside the X-Men, defying the scientific might of the Monarch of Latveria and the occult strength of the God of Evil.  After Xavier's death he battled both the Red Hulk and the Red She-Hulk, nearly killing the Red Hulk before Loki's sorcery awakened the Elder Dragon Fin Fang Foom.  Turning on the beast, the Prince of the Blood was last seen being crushed beneath the Dragon's talons outside Oakland.

Activity: Since the Battle of Oakland, Namor has been wandering and amnesiac.  He remembers that he was at Oakland, but nothing before then.  He knows he has powers, but thinks he is simply a mutant with strength, speed, enhanced toughness, and the ability to fly.  Currently he has assumed the name "Rex McKenzie" and the superheroic name "the Dragon", mostly because the names sound right to his ears.  He's been a drifter most of the time between Oakland and the prison camp, constantly on the move to avoid the Red Hulk's Enforcers, doing good and helping where he can.  And he's thirsty.  All the time, he's thirsty.  No matter how much water he drinks.

Appearance: The Prince of the Blood is an imposing figure.  He has short, dark hair and penetrating blue eyes, chiseled features and a a haughty, imperious expression.  His body is lean and muscled, with the powerful build of an endurance swimmer.  Most of it is on display as well, as he rarely wears more than a pair of green, scaled briefs.

What sets him clearly apart from the mass of ordinary humanity - speaking visually - is his sharply pointed ears, the gill-slits on his throat that open underwater, and the small pair of fin-like wings that grow on each of his ankles.  Also, save for head, eyebrows, and eyelashes, he is completely hairless.

Celeb Visual:  Donnie Yen

Costume: Green, scaled briefs.  Modesty is for lesser men.

Role Play Notes:  Ideally, I'd like to keep the IC revelation of the real identity of "Rex McKenzie" to some dramatic moment - facing the Hulks, say.  And then he manages to get good and thoroughly submerged, only to come rampaging out bellowing "IMPERIOUS REX" at the top of his lungs and opening a Namor-sized can of whup-ass on somebody.  Until then he'll just be the Dragon, competent low-level hero trying to be a good man in a world gone mad.

If I could have a go at this I would like to play Angela. She's a crossover character that is Thor's and Loki's long lost sister. :)

Character Name: Angela/Aldrif Odinsdottir
Played By: Sirian Eve
Real Name: Angela
Age: 100,000
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Height: 6'2
Weight: 480 lbs
Affiliation: Formerly Heven; Guardians of The Galaxy

Appearance:

Armor

History:

Angela's story is a interesting one. She was first born of Asgard to Odin and Freyjia many centuries ago before the time of Thor. During that time Asgard was warring with the 10th realm called Heven. The Queen of the Angels took baby Angela captive as means to get Odin to submit. However Odin, being stubborn and unwilling to surrender The Queen of the Angels killed Angela in front of them. After this event a wrathful Odin  used his powers to cut Heven from the other nine realms and Yggridrasil.

The Queen of the Angels had ordered an angel to dispose of the babies corpse, but was astonished to find the infant still alive. This angel adopted the baby and raised her up as Angela also known as "The Wingless One" because  she, unlike the others, had no wings. It was said that Angela had been reborn by using the souls of women who entered Heven's gate. She was trained into a highly skilled and un-moving warrior to fight against the forces of hell.

Angela battled many monsters in various worlds and often kept their heads as her trophy. She was sent on an assignment to a parallel earth where she was to capture and kill the Hellspawn once know as Al Simmons. During this time it had been several centuries since she hunted a servant of hell this powerful. In the end her arrogance got her in to trouble since she started hunting the hellspawn after her permit had been withdrawn. It was then she was called in to Heven to face trial for disobeying orders. It was a surprise when Spawn came to her rescue and notified the Angels that she did have his permission to kill him. The presence of Spawn enraged the Angels so they attacked and Angela had no choice but to come to his rescue. They barely escaped and shared a brief romance before deciding to turn to freelance work.

Angela was once again at the aid of Spawn during the battle in Hell against Malebogia. During battle Spawn had been badly injured and she, with her lance, attacked Malebogia by slicing his stomach wide open and slitting his neck. As she retreated with Spawn in her arms Malebogia stabbed her through the chest and killed her before they could escape. Malebogia was decapitated by Spawn who took Angela's body back to the Angels where she was brought to back life.

It was during this time of Ultron's ascent in another realm that a pocket had been ripped in the multiverse  resulting in Angela being pulled from Heven.  Enraged and confused she headed towards earth only to be briefly stopped by the Guardians of the Galaxy. She had taken them all on at once  eventually being knocked out by Drax The Destroyer. It wasn't until the Watcher Uatu came and revealed her true identity as the daughter of Odin.

For a while she had spent time with Guardians of The Galaxy to learn more and how to get back to her home world. She left the team to strike out on her own for a while and headed to earth to find out what she could possibly learn in about the multiverse tear. Before she left she was given a name, "Thor".

End of Days Arc

Upon arrival on Earth Angela was immediately attacked by cybernetically enhanced green monsters. She fought them off fiercely before being taken by surprise and knocked out cold. It was then she woke up in a prison of some sort with other beings. Enraged was an understatement for she had lost her  superhuman abilities due to some type of device being placed around her neck. She has spent every waking moment planning escape, but not before she found out more information as to Thor's whereabouts .
Powers:

  • Super Strength:Shown to be a class 100 in strength or close to
  • Super Agility/Speed Strong reflexes and reaction time, she may even be faster than Thor
  • Super Stamina Angela's advanced musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human and most other Asgardians. Her virtually inexhaustible stamina enables her to hold her breath for an undefined period of time, and exert herself at peak capacity for months without tiring at all.
  • Invulnerability:Though she can be harmed she heals much fast than human beings and some mutants
  • Longevity: Angela ages at a very slow rate that gives off the appearance of her being immortal
  • Heightened Sense: She has heightened hearing and eyesight which make her a fine tracker
  • Flight: She can fly in any atmosphere
  • Self sustenance:  She can fly through the vacuums of space with no need to grasp air or intake foods for energy.

Abilities/Weapons:

  • Trained  Combatant/Bounty Hunter: She is highly skilled with many weapons such as axes, swords and clubs etc..and an expert tracker.
  • Ribbon: The ribbons attached to her armor act almost as sentient as any being with a soul. Often used when dire need to strangle or incapacitate her enemies. Sometime used to deflect objects being thrown at her. The rest is left to speculation.

Weaknesses

  • Arrogance:Sometimes she lets her short temper get the best of her.
  • Misc She is susceptible to  some psychic attacks and magicks

Personality:
Angela believe it or not has very quaint sense of humor. However she has a warriors will and a champions heart. When she set her mind to do something she doesn't let much get in her way. During her time with the guardians she had grown fond of Rocket and developed an increasingly close relationship with Gamora. She is strong, blunt and respectful of those she deems worthy of being called friend or ally and never quits a fight, she'd rather die than surrender. However lately Angela has learned to use her wit instead of her brawn to get the answers she seeks after coming to the revelation that it is the only way she'll be able to escape from the concentration camp.

Known Enemies: Servants of Hell and whoever put her in this prison.

Famous quote "I am an angel from the heavens and will not be disrespected. Whoever did this to me... Whoever brought me here against my will... My name is Angela. I'm coming to end you. "

On a complete side note.... My horse just had her colt this afternoon! Still have yet to get close and tell if it's male or female though will update when I find out...

So the Marvel wiki has not updated Dante, so I'm going to look through my 13 issues of Inhuman to make sure everything is up to date through them.

Angela, I've loved her since Spawn from the '90s... Great to see her here. :)

(I like her old costume from Guardians of the Galaxy over her new current one from her solo series though - IMO).

Juggtacular

Thor will be happy to meet another sibling. He just prays to his father that this one doesn't want him dead too, lol.

Sirian Eve

Yes! I love Angela too and Spawn. I would of loved to see them do a movie with her in it. Since the (1997) Spawn just showed her in a very brief comic. Then again I wouldn't mind seeing more Top Cow/Image characters on the screen.

And don't worry, Angela will be "nice" to Thor. Pinky swear.

Elven Sex Goddess

#39
I like to put in a claim for second character in for

Character Name:  Queen Medusa
Played By:
  Elven Sex Goddess
Real Name:  Medusalith Amaquelin-Boltagon
Age:  Appears early thirties
Sexual Orientation:  Straight
Height:  5'11"
Weight:  130lbs
Affiliation:  Inhumans, Inhuman Royal Family, Universal Inhumans, Royal Guard; formerly Axis, Future Foundation, Fantastic Four, Illuminati, Galactic Council, Frightful Four; Lady Liberators

Appearance:  Medusa hair is red,  and the bountiful large wavy curls of hair when stretched out is six foot in length.    Her eyes are bright rich green coloration.

Inhumans Medusalith 'Medusa' Amaquelin

Face claim

Costume

Powers & Abilities:

Besides strength, Medusa possesses certain physical skills superior to those of human athletes. Her Inhuman metabolism affords her slightly greater reaction time, endurance, and speed than the human race's most perfect physical specimen, Captain America.

Enhanced Reflexes

Enhanced Endurance

Enhanced Speed

Enhanced Strength

Highly Resilient Hair: Medusa possesses a long, thick head of hair, every strand of which has greater tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and shear resistance than an iron wire of the same thickness (average hair diameter: .045 inches), as well as the psychokinetic ability to animate her hair for a number of feats. Her hair, approximately 6 feet in length while relaxed, can elongate to almost twice its normal length with only about a 25% loss of overall tensile strength. One strand of hair, 2-feet long, can support 6.4 pounds, a list-sized lock of hair can support about 750 pounds and her whole head of hair can lift about 3,200 pounds (1.6 tons). A portion of her hair must be used to anchor the rest at these greater weights, so that more than her scalp/skull is used as a brace.

Psychokinetic Hair Manipulation: Medusa can control the movement of her hair as if it were countless thin appendages growing from her head. A psionic field permeates her mutagenically altered hair-cells, causing mutual attraction across the gaps between strands. These relatively small forces operate in conjunction to develop larger forces. Through concentration, she can psionically move her hair in any manner imaginable. She can snap the length of it through the air like a whip (the tip of which moves faster than the speed of sound), or rotate it in a fan-like manner. She can bind persons or objects with it as if it were rope or use it to lift objects which weigh more than she could lift with her arms. (Her scalp, skull, and neck do not support the weight of an object that she lifts: it is held aloft by the psionic force coursing through the hair.) Medusa can also perform delicate manipulations with her hair such as lock picking or threading a needle, and such complex acts of coordination as typing or shuffling a deck of cards. Although she has no nerve endings in her hair, she can "feel" sensations on all parts of her hair by a form of mental feedback from her psionic field.

As yet Medusa has not manifested her psychokinetic powers in any way except the animation of her own hair. Whether she has the potential to control other fibrous substances other than her own hair (as can the mutant Gypsy Moth) has not yet been determined. If cut, her hair regrows extremely quickly.

Strength level

Medusa possesses the normal strength of a female Inhuman of her age, height, and weight who engages in moderate regular exercise, Due to generations of eugenics, Inhumans are superior to humans in strength, reaction time, stamina, resistance to injury, and speed. Her hair can support more than 1 ton.

Weakness:  Medusa second biggest weakness is she rules  with compassion.  The first biggest weakness for her is family and friends.

History:  Medusa was the first of two children born to Inhuman nutritionists Quelin and Ambur. Quelin was the brother of Rynda, wife of King Agon. As such, Medusa was considered a member of Attilan's Royal Family. Medusa's parents elected to expose her to the mutagenic Terrigen Mist when she was an infant; the process endowed her with hair she could animate like added appendages. While still an adolescent, she began to make frequent visits to the isolation cell of her second cousin, Black Bolt, and learned to communicate with him in a special sign language. Medusa and Black Bolt developed a bond that blossomed into love when Black Bolt was first allowed out of his cell at age 18.

When the Alpha Primitive worker race revolted, Medusa battled their leaders, the Trikon. Her sky sled crashed in the fight and she became an amnesiac wanderer, until the Wizard found her on a small Mediterranean Island, fighting French soldiers. As he was creating an evil version of the Fantastic Four, he needed a woman to join his Frightful Four. Medusa readily agreed and filled out the evil foursome as they tried many times to embarrass and defeat the Fantastic Four. Though they were unsuccessful, their exploits brought Medusa to the attention of her Inhuman family who pursued her. Soon, her cousin Gorgon appeared and chased her along with the Human Torch, who she had forced to help her. A fight between the Human Torch and Medusa awakened the imprisoned Dragon Man, who associated Medusa with the Invisible Girl, who had previously been kind to him. He protected Medusa against Gorgon and the Fantastic Four, until he later captured the Invisible Girl, which distracted the four enough for Gorgon to capture Medusa and bring her back to Black Bolt and her family.

She soon stopped fighting her fellow Inhumans, and joined them in a fight against the Fantastic Four, who arrived to save the Torch; who had fallen in love with Medusa’s sister, Crystal. But when Crystal announced that Triton had been captured by the Seeker, Medusa gathered around her family and teleported with them to Attilan, using Lockjaw. Once there, Maximus gloated over his theft of the crown, due to Black Bolt’s “accidental” loss of his voice. Medusa and he both knew that Black Bolt secretly couldn't use his voice, as it was too dangerous, but when she hinted at this he ignored her and claimed her as his future bride. Black Bolt was not impressed by his show of power, and he tore the Inhuman crown from Maximus’ hands, reclaiming his place as leader of the Inhumans, and Medusa's betrothed. But shortly afterwards, when the Fantastic Four arrived and the Torch reunited with Crystal, Maximus fired his atmo-gun, trying to destroy all of humanity. When his machine didn't work, Medusa realized that it proved Inhumans and humans were of the same race, which infuriated Maximus. He went out of control and reversed his machine, creating a Negative Zone around Attilan that trapped Medusa and the rest of the Inhumans within the refuge, while the Fantastic Four narrowly escaped. Soon, Black Bolt was faced with no other choice but to use his powerful voice, revealing his secret, in order to destroy the barrier surrounding Attilan.

The Council of Elders, in agreement with Black Bolt, later sent Medusa and the royal family back to study human society, where Medusa's own ego led her into conflict with Spider-Man. Medusa was shortly captured by Maximus, who retook the Inhuman crown and imprisoned Black Bolt and the royal family. But Black Bolt used his powerful voice, once more, and freed them to send his brother scurrying away in a hidden rocket. She briefly left Attilan on her own in an attempt to restore Black Bolt's vocal cords and again, under the Enchantress' influence, to join the Lady Liberators. When Sue Richards left the Fantastic Four, Medusa took her place.  After serving with the team for several months, Medusa encouraged the Richards' to reconcile, freeing Medusa to return to Attilan as Sue rejoined the Four.

The Royal Family went through troubled times, from banishment at the hands of Maximus to poisoning from Earth's pollution, but Medusa remained the public face of the Inhumans, the interpreter for mute Black Bolt. After Attilan was moved to the Blue Area of the Moon, she and Black Bolt were married, making Medusa queen. When Medusa became pregnant a few months later, Attilan's Genetics Council argued that the mating was unfit (due to the instability of Black Bolt's brother, Maximus) and ordered the pregnancy terminated. Medusa fled to Earth, living in the desert until the child was born. Returning to Attilan, Medusa turned her son over to the Genetics Council, which in turn smuggled him to Earth for testing. Learning of this, Medusa pursued the child; when this exposed a grab for power by the Genetics Council, both the Royal Family and the Genetics Council gave up leadership, though the Royal Family was soon forced to resume leadership. Currently, Medusa, the Royal Family, and the remaining Inhumans have returned to the Blue Area of the Moon, where they are rebuilding Attilan. Medusa has led an effort to bring Inhumans and humans together, beginning with a cultural exchange between the two societies' children.
Future Foundation

When the original Fantastic Four planned a trip through time and space, they decided to call four replacements just in case something would happen. Invisible Woman's replacement was Medusa, and the four original members indeed got lost in their adventure.

Medusa is queen of the Inhumans and of the Kree Empire.

Personality:  The first thing about Medusa is she cares.  She is willing to sacrifice for the common good.   As a ruler she leads her people with compassion.  She craves not the power or strength it brings.  She  has nothing to prove,  she is not a feminist.   She is merely a inhuman woman.    That loves,  cares and lives life.   With facing the challenges thrown at her.

My Queen!  ;D

Medusa and Black Bolt happen to have seperated in the comics atm...  8-)

I can get Dante up late tonight I believe, I'm still gathering up details on the specifics of his powers. His background itself is pretty standard and won't take long to make a bio out of.

Anyway, Face-Claim in the meanwhile;
