The plot is just an outline.

A young woman goes sailing with her (Father,brother,both?) They are caught in a storm and are shipwrecked on a island. She has led a rather pampered and sheltered life. I was thinking that perhaps her parents divorced while she was quite young and she lived with her mother and her brother stayed with the father. Alone. What will happen?
