History:
Blare was born to the icy wolven homeworld "Alpha" of the Lupīnus sector, a frozen wasteland with only a single sentient species, anthropromorphic wolves, otherwise known as Arctic Wolves to the galaxy. She was born a runt to the dominant White Wolf Pack, a group of traditionalists and isolationists which believed that all other races are their enemies and should be blocked from entry into their territory. The rival to her pack would be the Illuminated Wolf Pack of the colonial planets, a progressive force which hoped to extend their reach in the galaxy through trade and negotiations with other races.

These two rival packs had been in and out of war for countless centuries, often dragging smaller packs into their battles or debates. Blare was unfortunate enough to be born during one of these heated conflicts and so her growth was influenced by little more than guns, fighting, death, explosions, more guns and more explosions. At the very least, she learned she had a knack for weaponry, although her status as runt afforded her little regard amongst her peers even as she displayed this skill.

This attitude towards Blare only fuelled her to work harder, ultimately forcing her pack to recognize her, but by then the young wolf almost didn't care anymore, numbed by the war and its inability to effect any change in the system. As another tentative and likely short-lived peace was signed, Blare resigned from the White Wolf Military, left the White Wolf Pack, and instead picked up some of the many private army contracts which had become available. It was through these contracts that she learned much of the galaxy outside the arctic wolves' own territory.

When not working for a private army, she would engage in freelance work or, if time allowed, simply explore the galaxy. She particularly enjoyed engaging other species in competitions of strength or skill, both as a way to meet new people and test herself against some of the more weird and wonderful cultures and races. She rarely snatched a place on the podium in these contests as they were generally geared toward the native species although there was one which she was particularly proud of winning. It was a hand-to-hand competition found on the planet Arnor, known as the Champions of Arnor, no small feat as the planet is home to a large variety of anthropromorphic bears.

Blare left that contest with more than a trophy, a small chunk of her left ear was lost to one of the more aggressive competitors.

Eventually, she found her way to the ship Euphoria, where she has since worked as a mercenary, heavy weapons specialist...

Fears: Blare has no debilitating fears, at worst she finds alien bugs creepy, she also has the habit of growing a little panicked if held, tied down, or exposed to the possibility of drowning or being jettisoned into space...
