Go Go Yuri Rangers! (Les, Futa, Power Rangers.) Interest Thread.

Here's the game plan.  Because Bokotousamurai is thinking about dropping the game, I thought I'd try to restart it with, well, my own twist on things.  This is far less parody and a little more serious than his own take, which was good but I think it wasn't meant so much for RP format unfortunately.  Even so, I haven't done a group game in a very long time, and I think I could use some help with this.  If anyone's interested in helping me run this, send me a PM or a note on here, and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

A couple of things right off though.

Number One;  Posts shouldn't be less than five sentences, two paragraphs minimum, and I ask that they be of some quality rather than quantity.  If that means taking a little extra time to get it right, then that's cool, so long as it's not four lines of meaningless fluff.  :P

Number Two;  I understand we have busy lives, so unless you need more time because of RL, posts shouldn't take longer than a week to get up so interest isn't lost.  If you're going to be delayed, post something here or PM myself or whoever ends up being my Co-GM.

Number Three;  While there's bound to be some slight edits to this list, the most important rule of all is to have fun!  Lol, at any rate, let's get this stuff started right.  ;D

The original line up and a few monster positions will need to be filled right off.  Anything else is secondary and will be ran by me and my partner first.  So, here's a quick rundown.  One more thing before I forget, I'd rather we not have people playing characters on multiple teams, but if there's not enough people to go around, then I'll consider letting that slide.

The Ranger Team.

The Leader.  (The whole magical bend seemed to be preferred by the old group, but I'm willing to talk terms, so long as it's a more humanoid type rather than a free floating head in a jar lol.)
Her Assistant.  (Type is open to discussion, so long as it's humanoid as stated above.)

Blue Ranger
Black Ranger
Yellow Ranger
Pink Ranger

The Monster Team.

The Leader
The General or Captain.
The Minion Monster Creator/Maker.
Minions/Lackeys.  (Two, three tops and only after the first three spots are filled.)

The basic plot idea.

The war started, as the people of the universe had expected, but not as the history books claim.  The so called evil empire, Futasia, and its citizens had simply wanted to be left alone, but someone had other ideas and gathered a team to strike before the perceived threat could spread from the capital world.  Deploying magic and technology to raise an army to defend themselves, the people of Futasia struck back against the powerful Yuri Rangers, but they were slowly but surely pushed back until only their capital planet remained.  It was there the queen found an ancient but evil power source that slowly corrupted her mind and body, giving her equally perverse abilities that turned the tide in Futasia's favor.  What had once been a war born of fear and self preservation for Futasia's people became a war of survival as the once benevolent queen perverted her army into a race of twisted demons and monsters, before setting out and conquering world after world.  All the while, the ancient evil she had been changed by grew steadily more powerful, until it took on a life of its own, but not before consuming its host body.  The evil being was sealed away by the Rangers, but not before serious casualties were incurred on both sides, while entire worlds burned from the war, while others had been corrupted beyond recognition.

Slowly but surely however, order was restored, and the worlds were restored while the remnants of the monster and demonic armies were forced into hiding.  Without a host able to sustain their God like being's might, they could only wait and search for someone strong enough to take its place.

I left the name of the entity open to whoever took the spot, but to sum it up, this still has some of the old game's ideas attached to it in regards the Yuri Rangers draw upon feelings of love and the positive emotions there of to gather their powers, while the evil minions use lust and the darker side of attraction and sexual decadence.  While there would be some gray areas, for the most part, the monsters would be into the heavier side of things while the heroes would be more 'friendly' about their sexual habits.  There can still be some heavy stuff on the heroes' side, just so long as it's not noncon or at least a willingness to not take things too far, if you take my meaning.

Also, there's a matter of fighting to consider.  Yes, there will be fighting, but I think the monsters need to have evolved in some interesting ways, such as the ability to go giant as they wish to rather than relying on their leader to do it for them, but we can discuss that.

The only thing left is setting.  Earth seems to be a favorite for most PR games but why not do space?  Maybe I've been doing too much Star Wars and stuff lately with my fanfiction lol, but I'm craving a more space station or giant colony ship setting rather than the usual planet battles we all know and is so cliched.  :P

I consider myself a pretty serious RPer and I'm certainly interested in perhaps getting in on this.  As for the length of posts, I think you need to keep it at least where you recommended above (2+ paragraphs).

Have a good plot in mind?  The setting and idea seems solid, but without a half way decent idea of a plot things are going to fall apart quickly.

Additionally, can you elaborate on the sexualness of this RP for me?  From reading the other thread, people seemed to have a whole lot of different ideas about what was going on.  For example, who is sexing who?

I'll be keeping a keen eye on this one.

That's the gist of it, and I'll try to get that filled out in greater detail tomorrow, but basically, even the Rangers can make mistakes.  Why hasn't anyone thought of that before?!

Lol and as to who was sexing who...that's actually a good question because you'd think the monsters would want to wait to rape the Rangers until after they were defeated, but I wasn't the one in charge.

Cool, I would certainly appreciate more clearification.  I think the basic idea is certainly there and the basic plot is good.  I just want to make sure people are all on the same page before anything were to progress too far.

Sorry for the delay guys.  I had three days straight of no sleep on this end so my muse was finicky, to say the least.  I was able to get a little more added to the opening post.  See what you guys think and we'll discuss things from here.  ;D
