Everyone is supposed to have one, a person who looks like you, acts like you, but has an entirely different life. What would it be like to meet your double? Would you be shocked? Surprised, jealous, or angry? Not only that, he has a girl on his arm who is obviously into him, and she is the epitome of the ideal woman to you.

I propose a rp that explores this issue. You are in a rut, your job is boring, does not pay enough or offer you any satisfaction. Your latest girlfriend left you when you got so drunk you wrecked your car and ended up in the hospital with multiple injuries and a long and very expensive hospital stay. It was deemed your fault, (you were drunk) you had to use all your savings to get back on your feet and she had enough. Life looks pretty bad on the bottom looking up.

So you can describe your life however you want. The last paragraph is just an example. But here is the killer. This other guy? Yeah, he sees you and wants nothing to do with a loser like you and he for sure does not want you to steal his girl. He is successful, has a great job, a beautiful house and lots of money. What is his secret?

We can play this as my character being the gorgeous woman you want of course, but I leave it to you if you want to play both of the male characters. I am willing to make an extra woman or two if you like. I love making multiple characters!

I want plenty of conflict, comedy, drama and action here. Be descriptive, have plenty of imagination and a willingness to keep the pace.

This is only one option on the idea. It can also be set in a fantasy universe with magic, or a Steam punk world or even a historical fiction setting. Wherever you like to set it!

Maybe your doppleganger is an evil scientist who stole your image and your girl. How do you foil his evil plans and get her back and save the world?

It occurs to me that a picture might be more inspiring than a simple plot. So I give you a slightly tantalizing picture of what could be:

Handsome, successful and hot! Twins, orphaned and adopted, they were separated at only one year of age. Two different families, two different life styles. One a successful businessman with a seven figure annual income. His twin is a career thief, raised in a home with little to no resources, only his intellect and instinct for survival kept him going. They may look alike, but their personalities are vastly different.



They have both set their eyes on this red haired beauty. Model and actress Linda Norgann. She is struggling to break into the big time. Haunting the casinos looking for an opportunity to impress a high roller into giving her career a boost.



She has learned to be a casino card dealer, proficient and fast, she knows how to manipulate people and acts all innocent and shy. Inside she is ambitious and cunning. Which one will she choose? She has a hard time telling them apart. What's more, neither is aware of the other until she is confused enough to ask if they have any brothers.
