That's one great film.  Particularly loved those extended cuts... talk about amazing direction-- too close for comfort for the Academy, I think... utterly snubbed.  They were too busy choking their chickens over Phillip Seymour Hoffman (sp?) that year (disappointing as Capote, btw).  (Or am I off by a year..?)

Bladerunner.  Absolute classic... no link, sorry.

I have not seen Children of Men, but I agree that Bladerunner is one of the seminal futuristic films.  I sometimes regret that there was never a role playing game based on the theme, well apart from that one on pc that came out a good few years ago now.
