In the distant future (think along the lines of Star Trek)...

a genius scientist that creates a brand new android the likes of which the world has never before seen, a bio android that exceeds anything done yet... synthetic protoplasm (artificial lab created human flesh that looks and feels completely real) and fully functioning organs over a duranium skeleton, this bio android has micro chips fitted along her brain programmed with human emotions, completed with special codes that if spoken by the creator will shut down or reboot the said bio android.

The scientist, a one Professor Harrison Pewter, has given his creation the name Melfina.

At the same time of Melfina's completion, another discovery has been made in what used to the frozen tundra of the arctic... what appears to be a man crudely pieced together...

I am based this version of Frankenstein's monster upon the Frankenstein movie starring Luke Goss as the monster, if you haven't seen it, you really should. Luke is absolutely phenomenal and after that movie, he went on to a sparkling career, it's really worth a watch.
