I think she will be my character. She has a serious face on there haha. Was thinking of ignoring the sword but I think I might actually use it as part of her fighting style. Rather then a normal sword it can actually have a dule and indented point. Basically it uses a  Lacrima that is attuned to water which she is able to use her powers with. From there the blade is able to circulate the water around in a sharp point acting as a blade, making it stronger then what an ordinary sword might to cut through things. Figure really it could be used as an enhancement and possibly used for special technics she develops to concentrate her Water Dragonslayer abilities into stronger and more focused forms. :)  Either way I'll get cracking on that profile.

Oh and btw, the port they are near, is it fresh water or salt water? Haha if its salt water it would be pretty bad for her to be training off that to much since it would make her delirious (salt water actually dehydrates the body, so while she can use it, she probably would have to utilize it rather quickly and consume it more often. Sure she gains magic from it but she would just be much too delusional to fight after so long haha. XD

Personality: Rin is rather a quiet and collective girl. She tends to be rather silent when it comes to conversing with strangers and will tend to shy away from conversations unless she gets to know someone. She holds a barrier up between people, afraid that if she gets close with someone that they might vanish. She often puts on a rather serious face and seems to be a bit stiff at first glance. When she does open up with people, she has a much softer side behind her. She can be a little nonsensicle at times and might awkwardly not understand some things or take sarcasm rather seriously. She can at times have a rather cute way of reacting to things. She spends a lot of her time training in belief that she personally must be as strong as she possibly can be to protect others. She has a dark side burried deep within her of scars of her past that have duled her emotions, though they still remain tucked away seeking to be released.
History:Rin was once a part of Ember Rose as a child, as one of the children of its members. During the war, however, her father and mother were killed leaving her lost and alone after first hand witnessing their murder. The young child wandered alone through the  woods until she had tripped and fell down a steep incline before falling into the water. The girl nearly drowned, passing out before she was saved by a water dragon named Hydronis. She learned from the dragon how to use dragonslayer magic, finding herself yet another bond that helped her through another troubling time. Unfortunately, Hydronis vanished one day leaving the poor girl yet alone in the world. Since then she has stayed mostly by herself, keeping a barrier between her and others in fear they might die or disapear. With the rise of Amber Rose once again, she hesitantly decided to venture to join the old guild finding people vaguely in her mind from childhood.

Type of Magic: Lost
Magic: Water Dragonslayer: Rin is a Water Dragonslayer. As a dragonslayer, she has all the normal Dragon Slayer attacks such as the traditional Roar that they are well known for and the ability to 'eat' her element of water to gain strength.

Whirl Pillar: While underwater in large bodies of water, her ability to take in water for energy is able to produce another effect. Sucking in the water will create a whirl pool (varying in size depending on the depth of the water she is in) causing anything to circulate around and cause the water to dip down focused upon where she is. This can potentially cause an oponent to get caught and pulled with the strong swirling current she creates. As a second part of the attack, she is able to use that water that was gathered up as a high pressured jet from under water, acting as a powered up version of her normal breath attack.

Coagulation: A minor ability and one of the 'supportive' arts of a Water Dragonslayer. Focusing upon a wound, they are able to purposely allow the blood to either clot or flow normally. This can allow for wounds to seal much faster without loosing as much blood given the cut is small enough for it to work. On larger wounds, Coagulation is able to be used to help maintain the flow of blood and lessen the bleeding significantly so long as the user maintains their touch and focuses on it. The ability itself is not able to actually heal the person it is being applied to, being used mostly as a preventative measure from causing more bleeding and causing additional damage.

Water Dragon's Claw: The user is able to surround both her arms and legs with water allowing it to boost the power of a normal physical attack. It can be used to help as propulsion as well, using a sudden burst of water or a focused jet to increase the speed of the user. While it can be used in the air, its effects aren't as strong and tend to only propel the user in shorter distances.

Water Dragon's Tail Whip: Rinn is able to do a quick spinning motion as a suddenly upward drafting wave of water is able to splash up a few feet away from her in a circular motion. This attack can be used 320 degrees around her, so long as the front half of her back is turned to the direction she wants to use it at. The water itself isn't particularly strong, able to do some moderate damage while focusing upon repelling back an attacker or helping to deflect an attack as a brief shield. Combined with her sword, she is able to do an attack called Jet Blade, slicing through the created water and launching a sharp spray of water that can cut through objects it passes through at a moderate range.

Aquaneo (Sword): Created custom by a blacksmith she had helped out from a group of bandits who were forcing him to create weapons for their sinister purposes. The blade itself is actually blunt, the rim where a sharp blade should be instead containing a groove through the sword and working completely around leaving a small gap through the blade. It is a bit thicker then a normal sword though it uses a bit lighter materials. The blade utilizes a water Lacrima that is able to absorb part of her power resting in the handle. When used, the blade itself is able to channel her power though a combination of her control and the swords to make a very quick pressurized edge of water that goes around both sides of the blade. This water can be used in a blunt force or in a cutting edge shape. This circular motion allows for the blade to cut through materials that normal metal could not slice through. Even without applying the magic to the blade, it is a rather durable weapon that can effectively hit a target with blunt force as needed.

Stance (Wave): While not particularly a 'magic' of sorts, Rin uses a stance simply refereed to as Wave by the dragon that taught her. Its a stance that uses the force of a wave as its inspiration. It focuses on effective strikes meant to 'wipe out' the opponent  using more forceful attacks that can stagger or push an enemy back with each connection. Wave has a strong emphasis on power. The user is able to dodge attacks in order to release a strong force back.

((Putting this up, going to add a last name when my bind wakes up, but have bulk done anyways. That and a rank really I put A but considering the ages I might lean at B since I feel like that might be strong for her age. Sure she might have spent a lot of time toughening up, but I don't want to be comparable to a 27 year old haha ^^;; ))

Alrighty back on! Hmm still blank on a last name, but I'll put some of the more unique Water Dragonslayer techniques in. Woot for remembering the world Coagulation to use as a name for an ability that probably will be very rarely used if at all.  ;D

Gender: Male
Personality: While Jericho seems cold when first approached, the truth is far from that. Jericho is one of the easiest going and friendly members of the Amber Rose guild, going out of his way to aid some of the younger members of the guild when they ask. When alone however, there always seems to be something biting at Jericho's mind, making him seem distant in thought or even not in the same room. One key personality trait of Jericho's is his indomitable will, never giving up even when the odds are stacked completely against his favor. When on a mission, Jericho tends to slack off whenever he can, usually requiring another member to go with him to keep him on task. He has a very odd fascination with knives, though he rarely carries one on himself. He considers every knife to be a work of art to be appreciated, and will gladly voice his opinion if one doesn't meet his standards of quality. He is also quite skilled at playing the bass guitar, but can't sing even if his life was on the line. He gets defensive whenever someone brings up his horrid singing, mostly out of the last time he sang in the guild hall.
History: Born in the frozen tundras of the north, Jericho was lost almost as soon as he  could crawl. His childhood was harsh due to the environment he lived in, as well as his need to steal for food and hide in caves for shelter. One cave he stayed in was the home of an old dragon by the name of Fenris. The boy, terrified for his life, attack the old dragon with a stick, but found the weapon to be less effective than he hoped. Fenris flicked the boy out into the cold again and again, leaving small cuts over the boy's torso and back with each attack, and yet the boy continued to fight. Eventually, Fenris grew tired and the boy grew cold, coming to a stalemate, sharing the cave for the night before resuming their game for the cave. As time went on, Fenris shared stories with the growing boy, growing fond of his will and his tenacity. They eventually began to see each other as family, protecting each other from animals and beasts, though they never stopped fighting for the cave, though now in play.

When the boy became old enough, Fenris decided he would bestow the boy with the knowledge of his magic to better prepare himself for the world beyond the tundra. Jericho happily received the gift of Ice Dragon Slayer magic, though he thought it was to better enable him to help Fenris keep their cave. On what Fenris decided was Jericho's fourteenth birthday, he told Jericho to go find food for the winter, but when Jericho returned, Fenris was gone. Jericho searched far and wide for the dragon he befriended, but as hard as he tried, he could not find his "father". During his search, Jericho found himself in the Guild Hall of the Amber Rose. While he went there for information on his journey, he stayed for the comfort he found within the guild. When it was destroyed, however, Jericho nearly went mad with anger, thinking he had lost another family so soon. It wasn't until Alexandria rebuilt the guild that Jericho returned to his otherwise peaceful self, though those that knew him before the destruction know how terrifying he can was. When he rejoined the guild, he made a promise to Alexandria to never lose his control again, a promise he hopes he can keep.

Magic: (Be reasonable with your age and background) Ice Dragon Slayer Magic

Ice Dragon's Scales: Jericho covers part of his body (or the entirety of it) with scales of ice to dramatically increase his offense and defense. These scales are strong enough to shatter bone, and resilient against regular flames. This scale is much more harder than normal ice.

Ice Dragon Claw: Jericho covers his hand and forearm in a claw of ice, increasing his offensive power, as well as allowing him to slash his opponent with swipes of his hand.

Ice Dragon's Tail: Jericho creates a blade of ice from his arm or leg, as strong as a fine steel blade and equally sharp.

Ice Dragon's Fang: Jericho creates a shard of ice in the form similar to that of a dagger. He tends to use this spell in rapid succession as part of a combo attack, leaving each shard in his opponent as he creates another.

Ice Dragon's Roar: Jericho puts his hands together with a space large enough to fit a softball between his palms to focus his energy. When his attack is ready, Jericho thrusts his hands forward with his palms outwards, firing a beam of ice that can freeze his opponents in place for a short period of time. While it does take a short time to charge, practice has taught him to time it as part of a combo attack.

Ice Dragon's Shadow: Jericho creates a double of ice that can fool his opponent into attacking it instead of him. When the double is struck, the ice core within it explodes and freezes anything within the immediate vicinity. While the double only looks like him in form, but not cover, when combined with Ice Dragon's Scales, it can be used to confuse his opponents.

mmm I do like the profile, however the fact that he lost control proves that he is not a S class wizard, could you tone it down to as much as a A rank wizard? I am very picky on who I choose as a S rank wizard and  almost nobody will manage to get into it hehehe is that a problem? btw the IC is done, I will post it once I get the other two threads going as well.

I could get you to let me in as an S-Rank, but due to a rather busy RP schedule to keep up with and all, I'll just stick to one character. I like characters that have more growth potential, nothing to crazy but just that little umph... and being able to go for the S-rank test at some point could be cool. XD Hmm... still not figuring a last name (bleh) though otherwise only thing I can add is more Dragonslayer techniques. Hmm guess I could add her 'fighting' style as a technique, since it was taught to her and it allows her to be a good close range fighter. Sure its not really magic using in its own, but it does play a part in her combat. :)

That's quite alright. I figured I'd put S since he only lost it due to the loss of his second family. But yeah, I'll tone him down to an A.

Other than the rank, is everything else fine? I tried not to go too over the top. (Being an anime based game, you kinda have to go slightly over the top.)

Yeah I added the stance, figure it would be cool as part of her progression she ends up evolving and getting to use other stances outside of just normal techniques. So is the IC thread just for like the guild hall or what? Was a little confused looking at how it was titled.

I like it,  I like the difference that this anime brings to the characters it's like for example two fire wizards are not the same thing. Anyways good to see you guys are liking the rp.

Yep! Well really a lot of shows are like that, though Fairy Tail decides to go about putting magic as a more general thing while giving so many variants and possibilities that magic can be done many different ways. It makes things rather interesting, specially considering there is a lot to master that its not very likely many will be able to learn all the magic arts that they can possibly learn, and some are just attuned at magic that others can't use. So many variables really that its fun and interesting. :)

Aye and according fairywiki the guild masters and council members may have mastered more than one form of magic in addition to unique magic of their own. Example some guild master may have originally known only Lost magic, but he adds adept skills in fire and wind magic (not perhaps good as specialist in said field).
