QuoteTRENTON, N.J. — Pfizer says it will provide 70 of its most widely prescribed prescription drugs — including Lipitor and Viagra — for free to people who have lost their jobs and health insurance. The world’s biggest drugmaker said Thursday that it will give away the medicines for up to a year to Americans who have lost jobs since Jan. 1 and have been on the Pfizer drug for three months or more.

Yee-eeah...  some of us made a conscious decision not to have more kids due to the economy.  They should at least include a matching or greater number of condoms with each prescription filled.

Well, at least there's drugs like Lipitor getting given out for free. It's not cheap stuff. And the article makes it sound like it's going to people who lost their jobs because of the bad economic situation, not professional welfare recipients.*

Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

The last thing people need is to lose a job and then have a baby! My roommate found this hysterical though. Then again she finds all male enhancement/erectile dysfunction advertisements hysterical.

Personally, I found the original Levitra ads (man throws football through a swinging tire) terribly funny because you couldn't tell what they were supposed to treat.  For the longest time, it was easy to make the assumption it was an arthritis medication.

I'm on Seroquel myself.  A 30 day supply runs about $330(ish) so being one of those people, I'm rather grateful.  For that and the safelink cellphone.
