Sims 3

Anyone here playing the Sims 3? I just started (late, I know) and have been a Sims fan since my middle school years. Played the hell out of Sims and Sims 2.

I'm loving Sims 3, except that you can only play one family in a neighborhood. Sometimes that it is annoying. And also I wish there was an online component so you could play with friends.

I don't have any of the expansion packs and haven't messed around too much with mods. I downloaded a few custom cities/neighborhoods/lots that people made and share online but haven't used them yet.

Anyone have any interesting Sims 3 stories?

If you get the new Showtime expansion, you can now play with friends and visit their lots, etc.
