Co-GM checking in here.  I will be assisting with the Evil side of the game.  The evil shall evolve as the game progresses.   So expect the villains and evil characters to get stronger right along side the heroes.  Weapons and armor shall have a bit to do with his evolution.

The two guiding forces of the evil doers are the Demonic forge masters. These brothers shall trade in weapons and armor for tributes of female slaves and completion of evil deeds.


Araketh the beastly forge master of weapons is a Seven foot tall demonic lion beast man with dark blue fur, black mane, and black feathered wings.  He wields a single black great war hammer with a skull embossed on the side.


Venrius  the Draconian forge master of Armor is a Seven foot tall dragon like half demon with grey scales and blood red wings and horns.  He wields a silver war hammer and a large black war hammer at the same time.

Even though these forge masters are brothers they take differing views on the place of evil in the world.  Araketh thinks that the evil beings should rule over the world as where Venrius believes in the balance of good and evil.

It's a wild, wide world, yes, though there is an underlying plot to all of it. The plot, however, will have to be discovered in-game. What I can tell you right now, is that a world-shaking conflict is coming, leaving no one untouched..

Posting possible interest. What system are you using? And what is the feel of the game? You mention Final Fantasy but like the games or like Advent Children? (basically can people do anime stuff in this or is it more real world feel?)

Well, the possible system to use, if I do use it, will the the Returners' Final Fantasy RPG which can be found <a href="http://www.returnergames.com>here</a>.

Just about any reference from the final Fantasy medium is possible. Let me know -way- before hand if you are even thinking of using an iconic character.

The game, while based on potentially anime-style world, it will be more realistic. As power increases, more anime-style moments will become possible, however.

Hope that helps ya, Trinity. I'm currently working on the details for The New Kingdom of Brittannia. It will probably be the more recognizable place, FF-wise.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring.  I'd like to play a magic-using character, since the large-scale magic of the Final Fantasy games always interested me.  So, maybe some sort of bat-humanoid sorceror type...I don't know how much of the world you have fleshed out, but how well would a sort of bat-like antithesis to the Kyrie work?  I picture this as being kind of like how drow are related to regular elves in that other fantasy game you've all heard of.  They're less numerous, live in some kind of hidden environment, and are sort of the twisted opposites of their light cousins.

Thoughts?

Interesting! Though I do have an anthro bat species, which is yet to be posted(The Cytherans), a subspecies of such is very much plausible.

Alright Wyzard: a system has been decided upon. I've decided to stay with the Returners' FFRPG, since it most closely represents the complexity of the game. I understand that this might make some hesitant to enter the game, and will turn others off the game altogether. But as a friend once told me: "Ya canna please ev'ryone, mac."

The rules set, as well as other useful stuff, can be found <a href="http://www.returnergames.com>here</a>. Be aware, some classes will be modified, and custom classes will be in use.
