These are just my notes (I meant to expand them before the game started ;) Should have done it sooner :P )  so be kind ;) .  I don't mind adding other gods if you want to create one.  I also see the worship of Demons/Devils being fairly common for those that are evil (complete with domains).




Goddess of War: War, Strength, Destruction
Neutral

The Goddess of War can be considered neither good nor evil.  She is at once a champion for the downtrodden, and a symbol of oppression.  She takes no side, except to ensure that no one power ever becomes dominate.

Her symbol is a small broken sword.




Goddess of the Sun: Sun, Air, Good
Neutral Good

The Goddess of the Sun is worshiped for bringing life and light to the world.  She is most often worshiped by farmers and others whose livelihood depends on the good fortune of weather.

Her symbol is a stylized sun.




God of the Moon: Trickery, Air, Evil
Neutral Evil

The Goddess of the Moon revels in tricking others.  He is most often worshiped by those who go through life taking advantage of others to get ahead.

His symbol is a crescent moon.




God of Light: Good, Healing, Protection
Neutral Good

The God of Light, sometimes known as the High God, is the eternal protector of the mortal world.  He stands against the Arch-Demons and Devil Princes.

His symbol is a diamond set in a circle.




The Twins of Nature: Animal, Plant, Earth
Neutral

The Twins of Nature, male and female, are said to exist wherever life does.  They rarely take interest in the affairs of mortal or god, instead preferring to keep the natural world in eternal balance.

Their symbol is a tree whose trunk is split in two, one half dead, one half alive.




The Old God: Chaos, Knowledge, Magic
Chaotic Neutral

The Old God is said to have been the first to come into creation, and will supposedly be the last to exist.  He is forever in flux, reflecting the changing state of the world, and seems only interested in knowledge.  Some claim that the entire world, gods included, is simply an experiment on his part to increase his knowledge.

His symbol is a line topped in an x.




Death: Death, Law, Travel
Lawful Neutral

Death is only interested in one thing, the timely passing of all that have reached the end.  He cares only that every creature meets it end at the proper time.  He hates, although he tolerates, resurrection due to an agreement forced upon him.  It is said that he is the enemy of all immortals, and works to undermine them at every turn.

His symbol is a skull (of whichever race designed it, so there is no singular symbol)




The Goddess of Luck: Luck, Travel, Chaos
Chaotic Neutral

The Goddess of Luck is said to decide the result of any act of chance. 

She has no true symbol, though a coin on its side is often used to call on her favour.




The God of Storms: Water, Chaos, Destruction
Chaotic Evil

The God of Storms is said to have risen from the depths of the ocean to challenge the gods themselves in ages past.  Why, and how, he became a god is never quite explained, but it is said that he delights in tormenting any foolish enough to challenge the breadth of the ocean without first begging his favour.

His symbol is a horizontal line _ with two diagonal and one vertical line coming out of it.




The Goddess of the Hearth: Fire, Chaos, Healing
Chaotic Good

The Goddess of the Hearth is a curious goddess who is said to protect mortals at their weakest, it is even said she gave them fire to force back the night.  However, she is also said to unleash fire's destructive wrath when the hubris of mortals grows too great. 

Her symbol is a stylized flame.

The characters wouldn't have a whole lot if information about the trials.  Just that they each reflect the domain of one of the seven Arch-Demons (Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride), they will be dangerous, and they will mostly be outside of the city.  So combat, travel, cleverness, diplomacy, etc may all be required.

The first one (Greed), will involve recovering hoarded loot.

     History
Ariel has the typical sob story- thrown in the gutter, raised by street thugs, forced into the life of a thief and assassin- only in her case it's a blatant lie. She is the daughter of a successful blacksmith, who just grew bored with her life and did not wish to wait around to be married off. So she ran away to the closest big city and melted into its fabric. She caught rumor of a thieves guild, and offered herself as an apprentice. It cost a decent amount of her remaining innocence and even some of her sanity, but she proved a very apt and worthwhile student.

     History
Misty was just your everyday average common girl living out on a border village near the frontier, albeit a particularly bored one who had a problem with exploring a little too much. One day her wanderlust got the better of her and she wandered right into a monster's lair. If it weren't for a paladin of the Sun Goddess hearing her cries and riding to her help, she'd be dead. Instead, she saw the 'light' so to speak, and decided to devote herself to the Sun Goddess' worship.

Rather than traveling to the main temple, since she was a bit too poor for that, she learned all she could from missionaries and paladins passing through her village. The day the light answered her prayers, and recognized her faith by granting her access to true prayers and magicks, was quite possibly the best day in her life. Also because it was her birthday, so there were sweet cakes! Over the next year and a half she eagerly trained her body so she'd be strong enough to handle traveling about as a real cleric of the Sun Goddess, and eventually set off . . . and promptly got lost.

What followed was a series of short misadventures mainly involving her getting lost, and miraculously un-lost before she could truly get into danger, before she somehow found herself in the desert city of Zhyer. Imagine her surprise of learning that the legendary Competition of the Sword was being held, and her fellow priestesses were gathering together a team to compete in the Sun Goddess' name! Taking this as a sign, she immediately joined the team, not taking no for an answer. While she was definately inexperienced, her faith and willingness to work hard should hopefully more than make up for it!

Player Ons: Most things, I'm rather open-minded. Currently sort-of leaning towards big muscly men (Including where it counts) and women (I like the size difference with my petite cleric), dubious consent, and a few other things lately. Check my role-play preferences over there in the upper-left!

     History Lily was one of the two daughters of a small village blacksmith, where she picked up her trade; since her father didn't have any sons to pass the business along to. And things would've been like that, uneventful and serene in the rhymic ringing of hammer on metal.  Until a raiding warlord came to town, demanding gold, slaves and obedience- her father stood up to the madman and ended up paying the price for it; ending up losing his life and the village itself being burnt to the ground in retaliation. Lily was away from there at the time: around the age of 16-17 and had left with one of her friends on trade trip to a nearby city to sell wares, replace stocks and return repair jobs.  When she got back, being greeted by a smoking, scorched hometown filled with dead bodies of people you knew then finding your own dad dead; your baby sister adn mother raped to death would leave you with an aching need for revenge.

That's what drove her out of her home; basic weapons and armor with a burning taste for blood; which she'd get two years later after hiring out a few trackers to follow the people responsible. But she got a taste for that sort of life, the thrill of hunting someone then the pathetic begging they always seemed to do when you were goign to kill them.  currently she's wandering sellsword and smith to make her way in the world; but resorting to underhanded means to secure work: offing competition or destroying their own business. It was fun for her and was something she got used to.

You seem to have too many skills Snake, unless I may be miscounting or missed something.

You're miscounting. I had 32 SP to use and spread it out with 4 ranks in 8 skills I've actually used less than that

See here's my math on it: fighters get 2+Intx4 at first level
and humans get 4 extra at first level

so she has: (2+2+4)x4= 32 Skill Points to use.

Just alot of them are Cross-class.
