I'm sorry if this is a little too ambitious. I was tired and might have overcompensated for the lack of muse... Let me know if changes need to be made.

Real Name: Ayaka Kitamura
Real Occupation (if any): Teacher at a school for the blind
Alias: Blind Assassin
Costume/Appearance:

Backstory: Ayaka was born with cataracts which heavily mar her vision and make her eyes look light purple. Initially Ayaka was able to attend a normal elementary school, but her eyesight got worse with time. Since her parents could not afford to send her for surgery or to a special school, Ayaka dropped out of school and began to teach herself Braille instead.

As Ayaka's eyesight worsened, she began to rely on touch more often. She noticed that when she touched certain objects or people, images began to flash before her eyes. Sometimes the images were related to the object's past, for example, the previous person who sat in a chair. Other times, she saw simultaneously saw a series of pictures which seemed to be the most likely of the possible futures for the object. Eventually, Ayaka did not need to be in physical contact to these objects or people in order to see the images. These images seemed to come more often when Ayaka's vision was most blury. The glasses she wears in everyday life are not to help with her eyesight, but rather to block out these distracting images.

Ayaka was 16 when she saw her mother die of a car accident. Seconds before the accident, she saw it happen, she was too late to stop it. It was then that Ayaka prayed to use her power to her best of her ability to save people. Her prayer was answered when she discovered that wearing purple lenses allow her to see "wormholes" in the fabric of space which enabled her to teleport through small distances. She does this by grabbing a "fold" of space with her hand and pulling it aside, as though opening a door by holding the doorknob.

Ayaka's father died of a broken heart when Ayaka was 20. He managed to hold on to life for long enough to see his daughter come of age (by Japanese standards), then departed to join his beloved wife. Life in her Japanese hometown was too hard to bear any longer, so Ayaka packed everything she owned and used all her savings to buy a ticket to America to start life anew.

Powers: Seeing the past and the future; teleportation through short distances.
Weakness: The keys to Ayaka's power are her eyes and hands. Hence blindfolding and/or covering her hands with thick fabric would take her powers away.
Anything Else: The visor she wears as part of her costume enhances her to see ultraviolet light, which makes the "wormholes" visible to her.

Question for Jaded et al.: what tone is this game ultimately aiming at? Are villain and heroine powers better played as comedic or semi-serious?

Looking at Paperia and Blind Assassin, for example, they're both great concepts but fit for very different settings: Paperia is a hilariously underpowered comedic heroine, while Blind Assassin* is a carefully worked out quantum avenger who'd be at home in a straight-ahead heroic tale. Storm-Cloud currently belongs to a more comedic setting, but I could adjust him in a different direction if needed.

If not I guess I can kind of sheppard it and run a heroine as well.  My vote is for more of a light(er) hearted game (not quite 60's batman but not the Nolan trilogy either).

No experience running something but concept is simple enough so I figured I could help out in a non player overseer capacity...suggest ideas, keep the peace and what not....maybe play a scene if the mood strikes me. Hello, I'm looking to join and I'm trying to decide if this is going any where perhaps I could be a heroin? Or if needed a villainess, I could even be both? Mind you that would have to be with the approval from everyone that I get to have some FxF if not I'm completely into MxF and I love the dom factor that I was getting a feeling from. Well if someone does take charge let me know, if not I may just do an interest check re post under a new forum to, how you say, expunge the clutter? I am also willing to be the GM if others would prefer not to. I mostly would like to get it started and going and see how things play out.

I would say that this will probably happen, we have two people who are able to run/guide it (Rex and myself).  I would say both would be fine but if you aren't into MxF parings you might want to stick with a villainess right now since you would be the only one who is strictly a woman.  Some of the others have gaggles of henchpeople so some of those might be female but their main villain are all male.

As for my heroines, let me know which one people like better:
Heroines

Real Name: Karen Walker
Real Occupation (if any): house wife mostly
Alias: Fury
Costume/Appearance:  Long knee high blue boots with a 4' heel and elbow length blue gloves both made of something latex/leather like allowing them to fully transfer the sense of touch through to Karen without needing to be removed (also the source of her powers).  She's tall even without the heels, standing at 5'10", fit and lean with the exception of her motherly hips and porn sized natural breasts.  Her deep brown hair is tied into a high pony tail when out falling down to about mid back.  The rest of her costume is less functional, pretty much a pair of hot pants covering her thighs and neither regions and her top is usually just a bikini top able to hold her boobs in.  Sometimes it's a sports bra but they have a tendency to get destroyed pretty easily so Fury needs something easily replaceable (or mended) and yet quick to pull over her oversized chest.  Like the rest of her cloths her cowl is blue as it covers her eyes thanks to the typical non-permanent adhesive most masks have.
Backstory:  Karen's life was on track, married to a loving fathers, kids (two girls and a boy), house in the suburbs...in fact things seemed like they were going great.  She was shopping at the thrift store one day (you can find some great deals there) when she found this pair of blue gloves and boots, superstylish for the time she decided to pick them up to wear on some girls night out.  Things were different the moment she put them on, she felt a sense of power she had never felt before.  Her husband laughed it off and said the she could be a superhero after she lifted the minivan up for him so he could change the oil.  Taking it to heart she purchased some accessories and started to help people.  That was over 10 years ago (one girl is off at college, the other will be there next year and the son is a junior in high school), sure she's had some rough (and sexy) patches but still feels the good she does outweighs the occasional gangbang.
Powers:  Almost all of Fury's powers come from her boots and gloves.  Super Strength, an enhanced sense of coordination, and finally superhuman levels of endurance and recovery...the endurance and recovery have actually began to rub off onto Karen, sure both are stronger while she's wearing the gloves and boots but even without them she is able to withstand more abuse (and recover from) faster than a normal human
Weakness:  Water...plain ordinary water will sap her strength and coordination while she is wearing the boots and gloves.  Not drinking it mind you but being dowsed with it. 


Real Name:  Mikie Hara (pronounced like Mickey)
Real Occupation (if any):  college student
Alias: Cosplay Cutey
Costume/Appearance: Mikie has japanese features and stands closer to 5'5", her fine black hair is usually done up in pigtails and tries to remain semi-stylish at school.  She is curvy with a chest that usually out of place for an asian woman, when she was in Japan she would be frequently groped and molested on subway trains (which is why she tried not to use them at the more crowded times when it's easier to conceal).  As the Cosplay Cutey though her general appearance doesn't change much but her cloths become almost anything she requires.
Backstory:  Mikie is an android with some very sophisticated technology built into her.  Her creator built her as an experiment to try and give her the 'daughter' he never had as well as have her protect him from the yakuza he owed money too because of this little experiment.  Sadly things didn't go well for the good scientist and Mikie wasn't able to protect him from their poisons.  Alone she ended up in America as a college student, she became a heroine after seeing the others on the news and realized that she could do some good with her abilities.
Powers:  Mikie was programmed with a vast array of occupational knowledge and skill sets, amplified by her ability to learn and store new skills at an amazing level.  She was also given matter generators that allow her to create clothing and accessories as she needs for her current skill set.  Like an android she doesn't need to eat, sleep, or do other things a human needs to do. 
Weakness: Mikie can only access one set of abilities at a time and those are tied directly to the costume she created and is wearing, also due to a small flaw in the programming also allows her to take on some of the thought patters of what she's mimicking (ie: a racecar driver would be more prone to risk taking than an accountant).  Her changes are mostly instantaneous but also leave her nude during the process.  Finally she's a fully functional android with features she's not quite aware of, and the Yakuza have all of the notes pertaining to her creation.  It's not out side of the realm of possibility that someone might devise a way to control her intended transformation or more.

The vision I kind of see for the game/goings on is that this might be more of a catch/bang/release style primarily.  It would be up to each individual heroine/player and villain if they want to be captured and turned.  I don't think any of us here want to drive the other players to the point where they are no longer having fun or where their character has been marginalized because they're stuck alone in the villain's dungeon for days on end with nothing to do.

If any of that makes sense...

Makes sense to me Mvo33, kind of like T.Rex and Ptolemy are out on a SUpervillainous Safari as it were, and it's up to the "game" whether they prefer it in captivity or not. Otherwise it wouldn't be exactly sporting eh wot, wot?

May I suggest a table of the assembled Villains/Heroines/Other along with their current status and affiliation? Either to be posted here or in the OOC? Just so that we can keep track of whose currently involved with whom more readily, and nobody gets left out or too much unwanted attention.

I've created a tag that everyone can use for their characters to let everyone know who is working/fighting with who.  Villains with minions, please keep track of conscious and unconscious minions as they get downed or back up (or reinforcements). 

It would probably be safe to say that most minions/thugs will be male unless otherwise stated...some female lieutenants might be nice as well but later

I think we should let minions be both ambiguous and disposable as they are in the comics. It's a pretty pisspoor villain who relies on minions alone to take out his foes, so in T.Rex's case at least, feel free to write out the dispatch of as many minions as you like, so long as it's not all of them. I'll indicate when he's run out, or if it's otherwise pertinent (like he's specifically using the minions as a distraction or to overwhelm a heroine in some other regard  ;))
