Question about IRC IMs

Is it possible for me as an end-user to restrict people who are unvoiced from private-messaging me?  It's the sort of thing I feel a little awkward about, personally.

I'm pretty sure that if you're using mIRC or another IRC program, you can include scripts that reply to IMs from unvoiced people with a default message and close the window.

I don't have one though, you'd have to search for yourself (and no guarantee it exists, but I would think it does)
