Hello all! I'm currently in the market for some RPs. I have several ideas raging in any variety of genres and settings. It should be noted up front that my posts are rarely, if ever, less than 300 words. The average post from me will in fact be significantly longer than that, reaching between 600 to 800, with much longer (1,300+) when inspiration really hits me. If you cannot keep up with my minimum post length, please do not bother PMing me, as I find I quickly lose interest in anything shorter than 300 words. I don't mind the occasional post coming in shorter than 300, but you should be able to hit that without trying most times. My posting rate tends to vary, ranging from once per day when I'm really on top of my game, to an average of once every two to three days and the longer stretches being once every two weeks. I'm usually on every day, I have several long term 1v1s, and I also write short stories regularly and have columns that I have to write for in a magazine so I have to find time to split all of that up in to the free time I manage to get when I'm not working, sleeping, and doing the mommy thing.

I will be updating and adding to this as inspiration hits me. I am open to discussing your ideas as well, but PLEASE follow the link in my signature and read my o/o thread to see what I am and am not interested in before you pitch ideas at me.

Below are my current ideas. You will notice that next to the title of the idea is what the idea is meant to be played by (female x male, female x female, etc), but there will also be a number between 1 and 10. This is a rating of how much I'm "in to" that idea at the current moment. 1 is a very low amount of interest, and 10 is the highest. Any idea also marked with asterisks (*) is something I have a specific kink-based-craving to go with. If that kink isn't listed in the description, PM me and ask!

Longterm Stories

Modern

Stranded (FxM/GM) 6 
(Flavor/Inspiration: How I Live Now, This War of Mine, etc)
An American girl, just turned 18, has been sent to Europe by her father as a "graduation present" (she's pretty sure he just wants her out of the way until he can ship her off to college where she won't be able to "interfere" in his new life with his new family). While there, global tensions finally boil over and war breaks out. Stranded on the other side of the world from her family, she's forced to find a way to survive in a war torn region.
Maybe she meets someone who she falls for and sticks with before they're torn apart by circumstances/drafting. Maybe she spends her time on the run, desperately trying to stay away from both sides of the fighting to avoid ending up a victim of opportunity. Perhaps she's found by a group of "enemy" soldiers who rape and pass her around for a while. Perhaps an officer of the "friendly" army takes her in under a promise to protect her, only to turn her into a play thing, threatening to shove her out into no man's land if she doesn't behave.
Ideally I'd like to be a current thing, rather than a WWI or WWII kind of prompt.

Historical

Regency Romance (FxM) 4
(Flavor/Era: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensability)
A young woman loses her parents, and with them, her prospects in life. Instead of falling into squalor, she is taken in by distant relatives: a cousin and his wife. Their income is considerable, and their home large and grand. Despite the comfortable conditions she finds herself living in, she has no dowry or income, and her name brings no particular title or rank to a potential match. Resigned to the idea that she will likely never marry, she hardly expects the romantic entanglements she soon finds herself in - both with the Lord of the Manor, and with another - whoever that may be.

Royal Delights (FxGM) 7
(Flavor/Era: This is open, but I'm leaning toward something in the 14-1500s, as the show Reign is a mild inspiration for it)
Following war, an uneasy peace is struck between two countries. As part of the peace negotiations, the daughter of one kingdom is sent to the court of the other kingdom, where she will be an "honored guest". Truly she is there as a bargaining chip, a way to keep control over the actions of her father, for any moves he make will reflect directly upon her at court, and vice versa. But the king who is hosting her has grown weary of his wife the Queen, and only visits her bed when he feels he must to keep up appearances. She's failed thusfar to give him a son, and his eyes have frequently wandered to other women. Until now he has never deigned to risk a child with any of them, as one without royal blood would be... unworthy of bearing a royal-blooded child. But now that a Princess is in his court, he has other options... and it does not hurt at all that she is stunning, to boot. But how far will he go to have her, and how will they navigate any potential scandals if she does fall pregnant with his child out of wedlock?

War and Wedlock (FxA) 4
(Flavor/Era: American Revolution)
A young woman, only recently engaged to a British loyalist, is left largely alone when her future husband has to go lead British troops to try to put down the American uprising before they can be married. During this time, she meets a charismatic and handsome young man on the Independence side of the fight, and she finds herself torn between her duty to her family and the agreement already made between her father and her betrothed, and the man she finds herself rapidly falling in love with. Things only get more complicated when plans are being made to send her to England to await her husband where she can be safe from those who don't take kindly to British loyalists.

New Money and Old Money (FxM) 5
(Flavor/Era: Edwardian, Early 1900s, just before WWI, Downton Abbey, wasp waist corsets and obnoxiously big hats)
A wealthy American heiress arrives in England in the early 1900s. Her stunning looks and even more stunning worth make her a valuable potential match for Bachelors, though there is always the pushback of those who disapprove of upstarts from America with their "new money" mingling with those of finer breeding.

The King is Dead, Long Live the King (FxA/GM) 4
(Flavor/Era: The Empress, Reign, The Serpent Queen, Medieval, Renaissance, etc)
The King has died, and his heir and only son is set to ascend to the throne. But that does not mean his position is secure. An heir must be secured. And for an heir, he needs a bride. One of good breeding, one who can provide him a child worthy of his name and crown. And if you ask anyone else - one who is pious and obedient, sweet and quiet. She is only some of those things. She has the breeding, has the standing and title. But she is more than that. She is a pawn, and she is a powerful statement.

A New World, A New Wife (FxM) 5
(Flavor/Era: Jamestown, Black Sails, Colonial America, perhaps even Outlander, to some degree)
A young woman is bought from England/Ireland/Scotland and sent to colonial America to be a bride to one of the first men to set out for the new world's shores. What she finds on the other side of the ocean is a harsh life, with a hard man and a thousand possible traps to get caught in, from political to physical. Will she end up married to the man who bought her? Will she be swept up by a more wealthy landowner looking for something pretty and young to warm his bed and bear his children? Will she be stolen away by Indians during a trip between colonies? Perhaps she doesn't even make it to the New World? Perhaps pirates set upon the ship she travels on and she's stolen away to be bedded by a rugged, dangerous pirate captain? The possibilities are endless and I mostly have a craving for the time period, not so much defined ideas. I'd also be happy to combine this with other themes from earlier ideas. Time travel, for instance, could be fun.

 The Governess's Master (FxM) 6
(Flavor/Era: Jane Eyre, North and South)
A young woman of accomplishment but meager means and lesser prospects meets and against her better judgment falls for an older man if money and station. And he with her.

Fantastical

The Heiress, AKA Or Once Upon A Looking Glass (FxGM) 8
(Flavor/Era: Time Travel, Romance Novel-esque feeling, Exact time period open to discussion)
A girl from America inherits an estate in England (or Ireland, Scotland, Wales, whatever) after the death of her wealthy grandmother, who was estranged from her mother nearly the full length of the girl's life. After her eighteenth birthday and her graduation, she hops a plane and flies to her mother's native home and finds herself the new keeper of not only a large estate, but a healthy fortune as well. The home, as most homes do, requires upkeep and did not get as much as it needed in her grandmother's twilight years. Setting herself to the task of spending her summer side by side with the estate's modest staff to fix what she can while looking for proper restorers to do the truly daunting work, she finds herself stumbling into a room no one has been able to open since the estate's hayday, and in a long-abandoned bed chamber that once belonged to the Lord who built the place. While trying to clean a large mirror in the room, she finds herself stumbling through the glass and transported back in time to when the estate was still largely new. She's immediately swept up in a complicated web of societal expectations and perhaps even mistaken identities, having to cope with a world where women are not meant to have the strong will and independence that comes so naturally to a modern woman.

In The Witch Army Now (FxA) 6
(Flavor/Era: Modern with possible historical flashbacks, Alternate History, Urban Fantasy. Heavily inspired by Motherland: Fort Salem)
During the era of witch burnings, a young witch in the Americas showed her true power, calling down a torrential storm which put out the pyres meant for herself and three other young women before they could be harmed. Upon witnessing this display of power, the people were too fearful to attempt to burn the women alive once more, and after being driven from their village, they were approached by riders who brought them to the powerful men discussing the founding of a new nation. A deal was struck, in those early days. Witches would be permitted to live in the United States as citizens, provided they served in the armed forces and helped to defeat the fledgling country's enemies. Since then, witches have been conscripted at the age of 18 and enlisted to serve in the country's now exclusively witch-populated military. But in recent years, growing unrest in witch communities has given way to anti-conscription movements and even brutal terrorist factions. The military is faced to not only contend with foreign threats but to attempt to deal with domestic threats from other witches. While terrorist factions target human civilians as retribution for witch lives lost and families watch their daughters march off to die in human-dictated wars, an old enemy rises. Witches are being kidnapped, killed, and burned all over the country and the world in quiet but brutal affairs. The only calling card left behind is a gaping wound in the neck from the removal of the witch's vocal cords, and a brand of a laurel-wreathed Gladius somewhere on their body (assuming it isn't burnt at the stake). I don't have a specific story for this one yet, but I love the setting idea so much I really would love to do a story in it.

 The Warrior Priest and the Witch (FxM) 6 (Reserved)
(Flavor/Era: Open Era, Fated and Forbidden Love)
When a Christian warrior (priest? bishop? templar knight? up to you) is forced to fight against pagan forces, he comes face to face with a woman who is at once everything he fears - and everything he is destined to love. She and other women fight alongside men and are ferocious and fearless, but as he will come to find out in the days following the first battle where he encounters her, she is more than just a warrior. She is a woman blessed by her own gods with gifts beyond most mortal ken. And oh, how she tempts him.

 Behind the Mask and Closed Doors (FxM) 8
(Flavor/Era: Superheroes, Modern, Dark and Extreme Themes)
Superheroes. We've all seen stories about them. Shining paragons of truth, justice, and the "American way". Gods among men, put up on pedestals by society and worshipped as something everyone should strive to be. They save busses full of orphans and stop potentially deadly bank robberies from ending in tragedy. They support law enforcement and uphold what is right and they never, ever take a life, no matter how awful the villain.
Or so we all think.
In this world, your character is one such hero. He is everything the public imagines the ideal hero to be. Strong, powerful, good. A shining example of nontoxic masculinity and leadership. He's saved countless lives and will no doubt save countless more. Think Captain America: he's squeaky clean and perfect as far as society is concerned.
But when he goes home? When he takes off the costume and he's just Joe from Accounting? He has a dark side. Let's face it... being a hero is hard, and not just because of all the death defying stunts and intense battles against people with a lot less hangups about death than you have. Its also hard to be so good all the time. Just once you'd like to punch Madam Malevolent hard enought to knock the teeth out of her smiling face.
But you can't.
Instead, you bottle all your darkness up until you're out of costume and no one knows who you really are. And you go home to... me.
Who am I? I'm the runaway, the homeless girl you coaxed in with the promise of a hot meal and a warm bed as a matter of charity, before you locked me up and turned me into your slave. You come home from a hard day of work and heroing and you get to pour all your anger and frustration into me. You pin me under you and brutally rape me. You smack me around if I don't jump to follow your command fast enough. You delight in making me scream and cry and you've been threatening to fill me with a baby just so I know my body will never be the same, irrevocably altered and belonging to you. Maybe if you come home after I've fallen asleep, you toy with and fuck me while I'm asleep. Maybe you provide drugs to me so I stay spaced out and unable to fight back.
(Anyway... that's the basic concept. Obviously this is meant to get really dark and twisted. No she will not suddenly become willing mid sex scene or whatever. She's a prisoner, she's going to act like one.)

Fandoms

The Great House (FxA/GM) 8
(Flavor/Era: Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, House of the Dragon)
Being a daughter of a great house was difficult and dangerous at times, but being the eldest daughter when your father has no male heirs makes things increasingly complicated. My character is the heir to a great house of Westeros, and while her father is off serving in some official capacity, she's left to run his house and perhaps find a husband. Ideally that's what she should be doing, anyway. But women so rarely get a chance at real power, real property that doesn't filter to them through their husband or father... so what's to stop her from playing a long game to try to hold control of her position and house instead of marrying and seeing all her family's holdings go to him?
(Barely-there start of an idea with this one. Based around a character I made for the Game of Thrones TTRPG. We don't need to use the system or anything, just want to play the character since I never got to finish (or really even start) her story.)

Fire and Bloodlines (FxA/GM) 8

(Flavor/Era: Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, House of the Dragon)

In the far-flung past of Westeros, the Targaryen dynasty united seven kingdoms under its banner and saw Westeros through conquest, war, peace, upheaval, and more. I'd love to tell a story about members of that dynasty, and the dangerous, twisted, incestuous family that sits and surrounds the iron throne. Perhaps I'm the youngest daughter of many children, far from a direct heir, and most think I'm unintelligent or mad, but you, my uncle or older cousin who could challenge my eldest brother's claim to the throne, recognize my "madness" for what it truly is: prophecy. Eager to secure your own line and fulfill your desire of being the most powerful Targaryen, and perhaps even King, of your generation, you vie to marry me against my father's wishes, believing my gift will give you not only the most purely gifted children - we are both dragon riders, after all - but a way to anticipate and hopefully manipulate future events.

Or perhaps we come up with something else altogether, like me being a daughter everyone is sure was sired by my mother's brother, not her husband, though few would dare say so outloud.

The Aes Sedai and her Warder (FxM) 5

(Flavor/Era: The Wheel of Time, High Fantasy)

I'm in the process of watching season 2 of the Wheel of Time series on Amazon Prime and am inspired by the deep connections between Aes Sedai and their warders. As such, I'm hoping to find someone willing to play (at least) one warder to my aes sedai. I'm open on what Ajah I pick, and would ideally like to start the story before they're even bonded. Perhaps with them meeting, then moving on from there?

Alternatively, we could go against the grain and play a pair who have nothing to do with the White Tower and their teachings? Maybe my girl is a channeler who hasn't been found by the Aes Sedai (possibly doesn't even know what she is) and the bond happens naturally between her and your character(s). That could open some interesting options for the story as well.

I should be upfront that I'm only 4 books in, and I have some strong opinions on the characters, so broach that subject at your own risk. xD

A Superhero's Favor (FxM) 9-10

(Setting: Any, but probably comics based)

It isn't easy being normal in a world filled with enhanced people. Mutants, super geniuses, aliens, sorcerers... super heroes and super villains alike make every day intense. But there are moments... moments between high-powered bank robberies and high-stakes battles for the fate of the world, when everything is quiet. That's when *he* shows up. Dressed in civvies usually, but sometimes he slips into the quiet sanctuary that is my small apartment while still in full costume. And I do my best to help quiet his loud thoughts. To remind him that he is more than a living weapon. More than a mission to protect innocents. He's a man, and I love him. Even though it puts me at risk of being found by his enemies every time he shows up.

(Pretty straightforward idea here. Superhero falls for a normal human woman, and their love puts a target on her back. It's only a matter of time before someone finds out about her and she becomes a target, a pawn to hurt him. I'd like to see this have everything from steamy romantic sex to high-stakes rescues and tender romance. All sorts of kinks are possible here.)

Civil War: Caught in the Middle (FxM/A as GM) 9-10

(Setting: Comics or MCU)

She joined up with the Avengers long before the Registration act/Sakovia Accords created this chaos, and during her short time as part of the team, she never expected to find herself with deep feelings for two close friends who would soon be ready to kill one another over a law passed by humans. She could see how hard Tony was trying to do the right thing and provide a safe avenue for heroes to operate and not simply be banned outright, but she also saw how the idea of such a thing grated against everything Cap believed in. She was told she needed to pick a side, but how does one do that when one can't bear the idea of life without them?

(Another kinda vague idea. I mostly love the idea of a love triangle and her having to deal with the fallout, maybe even "retire" from heroing during the fighting to avoid getting in the middle, only to potentially have to show up and put herself in the middle to save one or both lives, which could kick off an epic love story with whoever she may end up with after.)

A Genetic Imperative

(Setting: X-Men movies/MCU and X-Men cinematic cross over?)
Magneto finds a mutant whose powers, (nearly limitless creation and manipulation of electricity) suit his own with staggering and frankly somewhat terrifying (for everyone else) efficiency. He sets out initially to turn her into another weapon for his cause of mutant superiority and safety, but before long finds she's so much more than just that, and that their powers aren't the only thing drawing them together.
(Super vague, I just love a younger Magneto finding a mutant woman and breeding her while also manipulating her into being with him in his crusade to "liberate" mutant kind. Bonus points for power dynamics, age gap, and more)
