I hated it at the begining... I think she really acted it out. I just hated that show in general though. I really disliked all that characterization. Dick especially because in a lot of ways I love him more than Batman.

She's probably the better part of that show though, OH besides the batmobile in that show. IT LOOKS SO FREAKIN GOOD even if we ee very little of it.

I just can't get over the fact that she looks and acts NOTHING like her character in the comics, and Starfire is one of my all time favourite characters in comics, bar none. Also, she looked like a prostitute. And not even a high class escort! Like...she looked like a cheap corner-lurker in seedy part of the city. And not even a nice or wealthy city like London or Washington. I'm talking cheap corner-walker in somewhere like Boston or Detroit. *shudders*

History

Malcolm Merlyn is a wealthy and successful businessman and CEO of the Merlyn Global Group, married to Rebecca Merlyn and father to Thomas (Tommy) Merlyn.

When his wife died during a mugging, Malcolm changed. His faith in humanity was destroyed when he learned that many could have helped her, but no one lifted a finger. He also blamed himself for her death, having ignored her calls. He grew emotionally distant and shortly after left Starling City to travel to Nanda Parbat where he trained with the League of Assassins. Here, he gained the name Al Sa-her (The Magician)

After several years, he left the group and returned to Starling City where he plotted ‘the undertaking’, an attempt to destroy the Glades, the poorer quarters of the city where his wife was killed. When The Arrow began to interfere, Malcolm took on the identity of the Dark Archer. He eventually succeeded in his plan, but his son Tommy died trying to rescue Laurel Lance from one of the collapsing buildings.

He was believed to be dead when Oliver Queen struck an arrow through his heart, but it was later revealed that Merlyn had faked his death to escape from the League of Assassins who had not taken kindly to his defection.

Several years later, Malcolm returned to Starling City, and revealed himself to Moira Queen who betrayed him to Ra’s al Ghul. With the help of Oliver Queen, Malcolm bought a respite from the League of Assassins, but his relationship with Ra’s al Ghul remained strained, and their interests collided more than once, resulting in violent clashes between the League and Malcolm, who by this time frequently assisted Team Arrow - for motives of his own.

Currently, Malcolm has learned that Ra’s al Ghul taken an interest in affairs too close to home for his liking. Adopting the stance that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’, Malcolm is looking to insert himself into the equation, hoping to rid the world of Ra’s al Ghul once and for all.

Except posts promptly for the House Of Mystery Party and the Superman Event.


Those at the league meeting should have received a call on the various devices they were given to hear from the league. That communication should let the league know about the threat and give them a rally point.


This will be a multi level event where everyone will get a chance to participate and have something to do. For now I need to get everyone posted so far as getting to the event. Their will be boots on the ground to direct and call the play as needed.

Any one of those would be fine! Raven would fit great with the small occult members we have while Steel himself would go wonderfully with the league since we're going to be losing our Superman.
