Circe
Beautiful though Circe may be, she was also bitter. Odysseus has slipped from her enchantments and fled her island of Aeae. She was angry with the gods for allowing this, though what could she do? She would wait, tend to her bruised eqo and heart and plant the seeds for future machinations. Circe was a powerful enchantress, learned in the arts of charms, illusions and other such witchery. Her island, wooded and populated strange animals with queer eyes, she languished quite comfortably in her opulent mansion.

Not all the gods and goddesses worked in concert, not by far. Fortune would soon shine on Circe again. Odysseus' eldest daughter, a headstrong and adventurous young woman, tired of waiting idly by for her father's return from Troy set out to search for him herself. By way of shipwreck or errant wind she would land upon the shores of Aeae. It is an opportunity and second chance Circe will not let pass. Securing Ithaca's eldest daughter surely would ensure the return of King Odysseus. Only she was unprepared how his daughter in such charming fashion favored her father's best attributes.

Will the gods interfere once again, or will Circe be left to her amusements unmolested? Will Odysseus return to collect his daughter? Will the unsuspecting woman see through Circe's lies and enchantments? Or will she forget her plans and fall under Circe's spell?
