The Fantasy Film

At the height of popularity for HBO's Game of Thrones, all the lesser networks want a piece of the pie. An unnamed network is funding a pilot for the low budget fantasy series slated to be the next big thing- though anyone can see it's going straight to DVD. After the most recent rewrite, unaspiring actress Zi Ran Syu has been brought in as "evil kung fu chick." And you? Naturally, you're the starlet.

We have a wildly different work ethic coming into this startup project and neither of us is very good at following choreography, but as we work together some kind of chemistry develops. Maybe another rewrite is in order.

What I'm looking for: A co-star who thinks too highly of herself. A dozen takes of the same fight scene and kiss until the director is happy. A burgeoning fantasy franchise helmed by an incompetent wanker.

Faster Pussycat!

In 1969 a groundbreaking children's show named Pawville made its debut, uniting a team of creatives with a shared passion for puppetry and the knowhow to teach, entertain, and comfort American children. Pawville's most recognizable characters were given life and inimitable voice by one woman, one uncredited and invisible woman, a negro named Francesca Davis.

Now it's 1979, and the first generation to grow up with Ms. Davis' characters are the young adults of the roller disco scene. Ms. Davis is innovating again, scouring the discotheques in search of young talent with rhythm and grace to bring the characters of Pawville to live roller rink shows across the country. And this young woman, whoever she may be, is the hottest talent so far. She must have been born into a pair of skates. It's uncomfortable in the suit, there's no enjoying the fame, and Ms. Davis is nothing if not uncompromising with her vision, but how often does a girl get to make a living on roller skates?

What I'm looking for: A dreamer with a bit of hero worship. 1970s taboos and style. Sweaty, half-naked lessons on how to wag the hips to operate a mechanical tail. Roller disco free love.

For A Documentary

It's National Geographic's dirty little secret that there are no bush tribes left in an age of global cellphone communication and charities that canvas the third world. To add a human element to a shoot on the horn of Africa, your photographer has gone the tried and true route of hiring modern islanders to play act a stone age tribal culture. Johanna is one of those islanders. She isn't like the rest of the employees. For one, she speaks very articulate English, and for another, she's interested in you.

One night, Johanna invites you to experience the real Africa. Smoke a little weed, lose the clothes, take some pictures, and see what develops.

What I'm looking for: A wannabe explorer in a world with no mysteries left. The jungle as seen by sky high modern women.
