This one wasn't released until 1975, but the session is from 1961 I think. One of the greatest post-war jazz standard tunes, and one of the defining pianists of the 1950s and early 1960s. Love the autumnal beauty of this take.

I saw what you did there. :P

Bill was a real luminary. Played the piano for Miles Davis on Kind of Blue and other albums, and in 1964, in one day, he did what's often singled out as one of the top five jazz albums ever recorded in Sweden, with singer Monica Zetterlund. Too bad he withered too early, like so many musicians he became a casualty of drug abuse. Here's the title track from the 1964 album, in a live take (there was also an earlier US version, without any vocals).
