Are you not entertained! (M for F, Roman times gladiator story)

Hi everyone. I have had an idea in my mind for a while now and tried to play it out but never make it that far for some reason or the other. I know it’s quiet specific but I’m sure someone out there would like to play it out with me. The story would be MC is a gladiator. YC can be decided, whether it is a slave girl or a member of the host family, a taboo relationship.

MC is arrogant, trusts no one and due to his past, relies on no one for anything, knowing that favors come at a cost. YC gets treated like dirt by him but is persistent, maybe not used to being spoken to like that or wanting to break his hard exterior. She could see him as a pet project, a game or her heart could break for him, wanting to show him the tender side to life.
