The Rules and Guide to Play

This is a comprehensive list of rules to follow, both IC and OOC, as well as an easy to guide to the game.

OOC Rules

  1. Follow Elliquiy's main rules.
  2. No godmodding and/or powerplaying. In short, you can't control other player's characters, and your character(s) cannot ve so powerful that they are invincible. Damage will be inflicted, and if your roll deems your character has been hit, they've been hit.
  3. No Hall monitoring. If you see somebody breaking the rules, let me know in a PM, please don't confront said player in the threads.
  4. Let's keep things civil. The OOC thread's are not the place to air grievances, give critiques about other players or even the GM. If there is a problem, take it to PM's.
  5. If you're unsure of something, ask, don't assume. It's better to ask questions, than make blunders IC, and be corrected via PM.
  6. Every Post must use the required tagging system. It's important, not just so others know who your character is canoodling with, but to keep track of HP points to.
  7. Video's shared in the OOC must be wrapped in a spoilers code, so they doesn't slow anyone's computer down. If there are a bunch of pics being shown in the OOC threads, start Spoiling them.
  8. This game will fall in the Extreme category, due to the nature of the game, and the gruesome way characters will die. This means that extreme sexual encounters can happen to, but remember that this game is battle centered, so sex shouldn't occur too often.
  9. You, as a player, may have up to two Tributes, and one extra(trainer, sponsor, stylist, guide.) All other characters will be played as NPC's.

IC Rules

  1. The system must be used. This is to keep everything fair and square.
  2. The GM(me) won't be supervising the battles, so this game will run on an honor system, please respect that.
  3. Your character can and will probably die. Be okay with that, or you probably wont be having any fun in this game.
  4. If your character get's hit, they get hit, end of story. Even the biggest tribute can be taken down by the smallest.
  5. It is "illegal" for any tribute to have trained for the games. But it's a fact that those from certain districts(1, 2, 4, and occasionally other districts as exceptions) do train. But it's more of a 'known' fact, and not a 'spoken' fact.
  6. This game is set during the 51'st games, so Haymitch was the last champion. Therefor, the events of the books have not happened yet. Haymitch is just starting his heavy drinking, he is not a drunk yet.
  7. It's expected that certain alliances will be formed, allies made. But obviously, not everyone will get along.
  8. Certain traps will be set off by me, the gamesmaster. This means that anything from a hurricane, to a forest fire can be unleashes, and potentially harm your characters. If this happens, this happens.
