Miss Black is a woman who exists only when she needs to. 'Black' is only her most common surname, an identity given to those she might call her friends to put a name to her face. Otherwise, it is unknown as to what her real name is. Her name, identity, and occupation can all change at a moment's whim, backed up with the necessary documentation to prove it. If she wanted to, she could show a passport with her face on it, and it would be accepted at any country, the same with a birth certificate. Where exactly she gets her resources from remains a mystery.
Appearance
A slight accent suggests heritage from somewhere in Europe, but there is no proof to back up the claim. She could come off as any Caucasian female with a pricey education; a German who studied at Oxford, an Italian at Harvard, or an Albanian at Yale. Regardless of her descent, she is a beautiful, seasoned, and educated woman, with blond hair that falls just below her shoulders. She is always dressed professionally but with an air of seduction; short silk skirts with slits beneath blazers, high heels and stockings, low cut blouses and suits. She is also physically fit, with the body and curves of a model, and she certainly doesn’t look her supposed age.
Occupation
Even to her employers, Madeleine gives little away. She is known as an Acquirer: someone who obtains a difficult to obtain 'item' for a price. The items in question are people. Unlike most in the profession, however, Madeleine also serves as a Breaker: one who 'rehabilitates' the item into its new service. Word has it that she is very good at what she does, and that if you can afford her services, it is nearly a guarantee that you will get what you ask for.
Personality
The persona of Madeleine Black is just as shadowy as her background. There's a curt businesswoman, but only in the middle of brokering a deal. Others get to see a friendly, interesting, and flirtatious woman, but only when she is prying into the public for information. Her mood and personality shift where needed, but most who have dealt with her agree that her most common attitude is one of confidence, at least on the business end. To those unfortunate enough to be the items she acquires, they meet a crueler, more calculating side of Madeleine Black; one still confident, but with a twisted, perverse lust.
