Help

The vast majority of Elliquiy's content is not publicly visible, even to newly registered accounts. In order to gain full access, every prospective member must introduce themselves in the forums after registering. Entering this gated community is not terribly difficult, however every prospective entrant needs to convince us of their maturity, which can occasionally take time.

You can usually ask for help in our chat. <- Click the link, or if you have an irc client, #Elliquiy on irc.sorcery.net.

How to get into Elliquiy in seven easy steps:

  1. Read the rules. Every member is expected to keep up to date on them and rule updates are always announced.
  2. Register on the forums. Remember to add webmistress@elliquiy.com to your allow list.
  3. Read the questionnaire. This will tell you what we want you to answer in your post.
  4. Make a new topic in the introductions forum, answering the above questions.
  5. Wait a bit, some friendly Elliquiy member will greet you, and ask you serious and silly questions, trying to get to know you better.
  6. Reply to them, participate in our community!
  7. Repeat steps five and six until (and after!) you are approved. A minimum of 24 hours will pass between your first post and approval.

Explanation of Terms

Elliquiy does not have very many terms, and a few of those that we did have have since been done away with, but you may still see them from time to time. These help organize games and keep the number of threads in categories small enough to be tolerable when people are posting every minute.

  • Human means strictly human or very near human (elves, for example) physiques, in strictly male or female genders, only in those forums, may be involved in sex.
  • Exotic means other critters and hermaphrodites. Furries, beasts, tentacle monsters (sometimes tentacular relations are consensual!), futa, and so on.
  • Vanilla means typical sex, where typical includes most things you'd find in the Kama Sutra. No real pain is involved, people are largely in equal relationships, and so on.
  • Bondage ... If we need to explain bondage to you, you should be prepared to lose an entirely different kind of virginity here. Split off from 'Heavy' and called 'Midtones' for awhile.
  • Non-Con is short for Non-Consensual, sometimes abbreviated as NC, originally called 'Heavy'. It's a less graphic term for rape fantasy or forced sex fantasy.
  • Extreme is for the sorts of games that may squick out even non-con fans. Bestiality, bathroom play, and gore all go here.
  • Freeform games are those that have no solid rules - they are played out entirely with the imagination.
  • System games are games using rule systems like Exalted, D&D, GURPS, custom or other rule sets.
  • Single Thread games are just that - role playing games that are played out between two or more players in a single thread.
  • Small Games are games that have not yet earned their own forum, but require more space than a single thread can provide. A 'Small Game' is allowed twice as many threads as participants (players plus GMs).
  • Big Games are games with at least a thousand posts, and have thus earned their own forum.
