Is any plug in available for windows media player after which installing I can run DVD files(.vob) there?

Not sure. o-o...I just use VLC, personally...buuut..that's just me.

If you are using media player 12 then yes. If you put the dvd in when connected to the net, the player should automatically load any missing codecs.
